I know....right? He really has a way of breaking that fourth wall and connecting with his viewers. I love that...especially because it feels good when you can jam to songs that you like that someone else is really liking too. Nowadays it feels like there is so much variety in music (which is a good thing overall), but an unfortunate side-effect is it gets more difficult to find fellow fans to network with. I think that is why creators like Old Composer really resonates with a lot of people. I know that is a large part of it for me is the empathetic jamming out and how he feels the music in a way that I certainly do too.

Spiritbox did a live from home show for Liquid Metal on Sirius Xm last week and they have released two videos from that performance that are pretty good . The 1st one has Holy Roller and Rule of Nines , the 2nd vid has Blessed Be and Belcarra . Another really good studio performance from them is The Mara Effect Live from Silverside Sound , it's a little bit longer of a vid but they play parts 1,2, and 3 of The Mara Effect . It's a sonically beautiful performance .

The thing that makes her special is she can communicate her empathy and pain through her voice. The techniques are definitely prevalent. But, it's her RAW emotion that MAKES you FEEL it. "Circle with me" is the best example of complete master of lyricism, for me. It's about choosing to live. Holding the flame of life. She truly is amazing, as is Maynard from Tool. There are many special people in this world, and I thank them everyday for guidance through my own subjective hell. Everyday.

Spiritbox are amazing. What drew me in has absolutely nothing to do with her looks, but the AMAZING melodies, the bass and drum sections, the ethereal guitar work and chords, it all just works together as an amazing dynamic- something no other band has. They also continue to evolve their sound, unapologetically, and it has reinvigorated my desire to play guitar. SOO stoked to see them with my wife in April! GEEBZ, PLEASE DO A SLOW BURN ON THESE GUYS! They have some absolutely amazing tracks. I don't think they've done a single bad song yet!

Cool reaction. I've listened to this song like 100 times since it came out and you made me notice things in it that I'd not really picked up on before, like the pads. Love spiritbox- they're crushing it at the moment. I think their strength with this last series of singles is that their song writing is very concise and super tight. I'd be interesting to see you react to humanity's last breath from a producers standpoint. Their new songs in particular like earthless and vittring have some really interesting instrumental effects and layering. Be warned - heavy AF though!
