Courtney sure is adorable! She's super nice as well!! I work at an airport in Canada and had the pleasure of meeting her and Mike (her husband/Spiritbox guitarist), and even though it was like 9am and I was fan-girling while they came through security, they were both very very nice! I love this band so much! Courtney's one take live performance of Circle With Me is also incredible (obviously 😂), and once you guys get to hear more of their music, the whole band did a live set for Sirius XM Liquid Metal that has 3 parts, maybe not for the channel but I think you'd both love it! Stoked to see what you guys get into next ❤

I discovered Spiritbox at Welcome To Rockville in Daytona Beach a few years ago, they played right after Ice Nine Kills. It was a double first time for me with INK and then Courtney and Spiritbox, they tore it up!! I was blown away, she was so down to earth, melting your face off with her screams and then her angelic voice, I had to go meet them. I ran to their meet and greet tent afterwards and all the band were extremely nice and gracious. Then later that night, I saw her and her husband, who I believe is the guitarist, watching Metallica perform in the crowd like normal people, surrounded by fans and nobody knew who they were LOL. I love Spiritbox 100%

I really think based off what you both liked about this song that you might like an older song of theirs called Perennial. It's not as well known as some of their other music and it's not as heavy but it's got some heaviness to it and it really showcases the emotion Courtney brings to her vocals.

Courtney has insane vocal control and technique. If you look at her throat during harsh vocals, she has zero tension. If you listen to her harsh vocals as well, she leads each word with a pitch, and then distorts it, which makes it a lot easier to understand her. She is also completely pushing all the air out before she takes another breath, which is also part of her proper technique.

I wasn’t the biggest fan of Spiritbox, but Courtney’s One Take Vocal Performances have convinced me. They are much more intimate and raw - so much more powerful as well. The original songs feel overproduced. I don’t like them as much, but I absolutely love this one. Flawless victory.
