The Wonder Years is incredible. They've grown with their audience and listening to the whole catalogue makes you feel it.

i was lucky enough to see the wonder years play the greatest generation in full last year. it's a very emotional album, in general but also for me specifically, and when we got to funeral i don't think there was a dry eye in the room. all the little callbacks at the end of this song are phenomenal, and then they go crashing into that big finale. it's a masterclass in songwriting and engineering

The wonder years, the menzingers, and a few more have brought my happiness back to music over the past few years.

I've always thought that Dan took a very musical (as in a stage musical) approach to his albums with motifs and reprises and such.

I saw them in 2018 and I think that’s a perfect way to describe his stage presence as well

I absolutely adore this band. Instrumentals have always had great arrangements, and Dan’s vocals and lyrics have always had an earnestness and vulnerability that I really appreciate. Not to mention this song contains many melodic and lyrical references to other songs on the same album. They’ve had an incredible growth as songwriters over the years.

Man I was so happy to read the title of this video! I immediately clicked it and liked it. This song was my top favorite song for a while. I used to blast it on repeat in my car with the windows down! lol

I've been waiting for so long for someone to react to this song - and you didn't disappoint! I would love to see you react to more of The Wonder Years; any of the songs off of the Greatest Generation album would be great - but what I would REALLY love, is to have you listen to the entire album and then relisten to I Just Want To Sell Out My Funeral. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the way they were able to so masterfully combine elements of every single song on the album (riffs, lyrics, tempos, etc.) into this one.

The wonder years have been my favorite band since 2010, always glad to see a new reaction 🔥 this song is a culmination of the whole album, referencing several songs, to sum up the feelings of this concept. It’s the best pop-punk concept album

you should react/analyze some Invalids. Theyre a mathrock band from NJ! and theyre consistently incredible. songs id suggest for reaction would be Sherman Is Connector, Its a Pipe Bomb, Jobriath, and Asystole. their newest music a has a lot of harmonic information that is quite incredible

I've not seen your videos pop up on my timeline in a little while, now. So glad I checked in and got to watch this! Now, all that's left is to catch up 😊 If you can, please have a listen to Bleeding Me by Metallica! It's my absolute favourite of theirs haha. Mahalo 💜

Some post-hardcore emo on Geebz? Now you gotta do some Taking Back Sunday, Story Of The Year, or even some early Thrice.
