I am not able to get a perfect square grid colourful pattern on a curved surface (not cylindrical). Can you please help me with that
@autumn99978 жыл бұрын
I have been having a problem applying labels to curved translucent surfaces. It appears as if a heavy shadow is being cast on to the model however I have not been able to manipulate the shadow by adjusting the label properties nor environmental lighting. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

To the KeyShot tuto makers, would you please do a step-by-step tuto about interior lighting? The previous one is unclear and confusing.. Believe me, all what this amazing render engine needs is a tuto about interior lighting. Thanks KeyShot :)

what a great tutorial! I have a issue about transparency texture. somehow I can not find " backside mask" in my computer, but found in another computer. does the problem is the limit of different version?
@keyshot8 жыл бұрын
The Material Graph capabilities are a KeyShot Pro feature.

In order to see the "Surface Backside Mask" Utility node, enable "Experimental Features" under the Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Experimental Features.

Another question, could you please teach us how to make more realistic CLOTHS, like diferent texture, like COTTON, POLIESTER, NYLON, JACKETS, CAPS, etc?
@keyshot8 жыл бұрын
We may do a quick tip or webinar on this in the future. To start though, you can use the cloth or weave procedural textures.

This video is awesome. although I always use keyshot, I still learned a lot from this webnar. There is a problem confused me. When I turn on the interior mode, The ground surface become visible, If I do need the ground surface, is there any thing can I do to solve this problem?
@keyshot8 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately this will be the case when using the "Ground" material. Try using a different material type for the Ground.

great tutorial. Regarding wood textures, I'm yet to find believable procedural wood textures. I'm aware of the drawbacks with image based wood textures, but being a carpenter/woodworker, and designing furniture, procedural textures really not good enough yet. For small parts, away from the camera etc, they may well work, of course. for what I do - well not yet.
