So for that wallet.. if someone were to set up the fingerprint option, would they be able to use it in conjunction with the passcode so it requires BOTH? (For added security) Or would they at least have the OPTION to use both? Or is it just one or the other?

hi, could you spend some time on decentralised exchanges like Apex (or others). It's possible to connect a hard ware wallet to these decentralised exchanges and trade with your coins keeping these on the hw-wallet. Decentralised will also prohibit 'the Kraken enquiry' of the IRS..... (I live in Europe).

I find I cannot connect the multiple seed phrase wallets to MM on the laptop or mobile phone. MM will only accept one seed phrase wallet from one hardware device. If you try to connect a second one it resets and wipes the originally connected wallet. Can you look into this if it has not been corrected yet.

Honestly, I have trouble using this feature because the webcam on my computer has trouble scanning the QR code on my Keystone 3 Pro. (I have managed to create one QR code based account on my mobile Metamask, but have never tried to add a second one) But I don't know if this is a uniquely Keystone 3 Pro issue. Seems more like a MetaMask issue. I'll look into it a little more, but it looks like since this is a fairly new feature, that MetaMask only supports one QR code wallet at a time, which is a shame. I think it would hold true if you had multiple types of QR code wallets that you wanted to bind to Metamask. Not to say that it's completely unworkable, because you can simply reconnect each wallet every time. A little bit of a pain, but the crypto stored by the hardware device is not going anywhere. You can always recreate the wallet from scratch anytime you need to. Inconvenient But workable. (Although reading some other posts about this issue, it might mean you'll have to completely wipe MetaMask and start over. I could not find a way to remove the account from the mobile version of Metamask. I think it can be done on the desktop based version) As far as MetaMask dealing with this issue, I was only able to find one post describing your exact issue and the MetaMask team has acknowledged the issue, but has not provided any update. github.com/MetaMask/metamask-extension/issues/19733

@@CryptoDad yes I figured it was more a MM issue being a new feature being able to have multiple seed phrases on one hardware wallet. For now I have solved the issue by having one seed phrase on the desktop MM and the other on my mobile device. Too much of a pain adding an alternative wallet every time I needed to use a different one. Yes I too have issues scanning the QR code with the MacBook webcam. Strange one. Sometimes it works. I am sure MM will have the fix soon like you found they are on it. I really appreciate your response on that. 🙏

Hello, First of all, thank you for your video. A quick question from a neophyte: "Why are there so many possible addresses to choose from in each blockchain on the keystone pro 3? Can't someone have the same address as me if I choose the 542nd for example? Thank you

All of the available addresses are derived from your private key. Your private key is unique. It is generated randomly when you initialize the device. The chances of someone generating the exact same private key as you are astronomical! On the order of millions of years of attempts. So you can rest assured that any public addresses that you generate using your device will be unique.

Is anyone else having an issue charging there keystone 3 pro. Mine dropped to 0% and won't charge up. It won't let me do anything unless it's at 20% charge. Wondering if anyone has been able to solve this? Right now it's just a waste of money unless I can fix it.

The 3 pro will not be supported by the Keystone Companion app. To keep it decentralized, the 3 Pro uses third party hot wallets instead.

yes you can. Perhaps I misunderstood your question. the "coins" are on the blockchain. to send coins from one wallet to another requires a connection to the blockchain. so you need a wallet like metamask to connect to the blockchain. so in the keystone it is not possible to send coins from one address to another because the coins are not in the keystone

I wanna use okx but it says not available in us go to web 3 wallet? I'd like to stay away from metamask because of the gas fees

You can use OKX as your wallet, but you cannot use their exchange to actually make purchases and/or trade. You can also use Metamask as your wallet and connect to DEXs. But Metamask doesn't charge fees. It's just a wallet. The fees are charged on the Etherium network, or whatever blockchain you're using when you're on a DEX, such as Uniswap, 1inch, or Pancakeswap.

You are absolutely correct! But too many people found it too complicated to do their firmware updates using the microSD card “air-gapped” method. So they clamored for an easier, more intuitive method. Thus the USB firmware update method was added. This is just an alternate method though. Purists can still stick the old firmware method if they want to.

The New Keystone 3 Pro which I’m currently waiting for will be providing support again for XRP in the near future which Keystone confirmed ✅ The K3 Pro did however add XDC which is great. If you’re a fan of XRP and HBAR you will love XDC. Add it to your portfolio if you don’t have it. No worries; so go ahead and order your Keystone 3 Pro✅

I ordered my keystone wallet, but I have received an Amazon product. The wallet was shipped through Amazon and I don't understand why because I ordered it directly from keystone. Can anybody collaborator or elaborate on why this happened? I do not trust third party wallets.

I do like your videos but there is one thing that is not so great, it is the blur. I understand you want to obscure your seed phrase but for a tutorial you really should show it so we can see what you are doing. Then before you publish the video, wipe the device and corresponding seed phrase so they are made redundant. Other channels do show them.
