Good instructions, but neglected to mention the little clip that was in the center of the hinge as the RV came from the factory. Needed a little screwdriver to pop that off.

Why do you need to take it all apart on the inside? I replaced mine opening vent then going up on roof and removed old one and slid in new one. It opens and closes fine. Is there something I’m missing by doing it this way?

Question - does the arm easily come off the lid if you remove the lid at the hinge? Replace the same way? I too do not want to remove all the underneath stuff.

Instructions for lid replacement were great. The '4 hr' intro however, way over done.
