@@KeyWestWaterman wow this feels a lot different them what happened to me today we live in Florida and we were at Virginia beach/virginia key and we were at land enjoying the day it was kind if cloudy, and then I saw a tornado type thing forming and I asked my brother and he said he thought it was a tornado, and then like 5 minutes later it starts raining hard we take our phones and other stuff, not everything and since it wasn't windy we went under a tree and we were probably down there for like 2 or 3 minutes, now that I read this, it feels like you actually had to be there to actually understand how crazy it was and how it felt like. Oh and them I decided to search the internet and I saw something that suprised in that a place in the world I dont know if said the great lake, it said that there can be like 66+ water spouts and can last for like about a week, and it also said that in the state of Florida there us about 400 to 500 water spouts per year, or maybe even average I dont remember, but I believe it said like 400 to 500, not average.

I have no words. This is incredible. I’ve been so fascinated yet terrified of tornadoes since I was in elementary school (I’m now 24). So much so I almost became a tornado chaser. I’ve never seen anything like this, I know water spouts are less dangerous than land tornadoes but I would be absolutely shaking in fear doing this xD

that was terrifying. Once I saw the focal point and the insane amount of spin I was extremely relieved you guys didn't go through that part. You still went through it but grazed the very center. That looks like it might have had horrific results. my anxiety shot right through the roof at that part. we had one in our lake last week. The weather's been incredibly bad here lately.

@@KeyWestWaterman that’s for sure! The closest I ever came was when my canoe was sucked into a waterspout while I was camping on a lake in Rocky Mountain National! We saw it forming while we were getting ready to go for a hike. The canoe lifted off the shoreline and barrel rolled into the water spout. All the water in the spout fell out of the sky and it disappeared. I also found out three days later the Pastor/leader of the church group canoe trip I took the year before in Algonquin Park had a heart attack and passed away while taking the canoes of the roof of the van...at the same day and time as the water spout. True story 😌😇

ill be completely honest, if I had to guess it was somewhere around 70-80 knots. hard to judge but it was ALOT stronger than I thought it would be. but this was a very small spout compared to some that I've seen. I don't think I'd do it again and def wouldn't do it in a smaller boat. it caused us to list quite a bit which you can't really see in the video.

Nah that would be epic. Though if you made a car with only cameras for windows, titanium shell and stakes that could plant on the ground ro prevent lift, and if it drives, can drive into a tornado
