Hey it was a nice video.But i have a small confusion in google keyword planner. Can you tell me difference b/w competition and competition indexed value??? If my keyword has low competition indexed value then its good or bad??? what's the purpose of competition indexed value???

Hi Praveen, thanks for appreciating our work. Competition gives an higher understanding of the level of competition (low, medium or high). However, Competition (indexed value)” shows how competitive ad placement is for a keyword, specific to the location and Search Network targeting options that you've selected. The level of competition from 0-100 is determined by the number of ad slots filled divided by the total number of ad slots available. Hope that helps!

Great video thanks for sharing! What do you think about using locations as the end of long tail keywords? For example: "doggy daycare fairfield county ct" or "plumbers in atlanta ga" ? Is this a good idea? If so, do we follow the same method or are there any differences? I also find that the volume in Google Ads Keyword Plan only provides ranges like 100-1K. How would we calculate the KEI when this is the case?

Hi Stephanie, thanks for watching our video. Long tails keywords can be helpful for local SEO. I would always recommend to choose keywords that has high search volume and low competition.

To conduct keyword research in the Google Keyword Tool, you'll need an initial keyword list. Generate this list by assuming the role of someone from your target audience. Write a list of words you might search to find your game if you were this person. Hope that helps!
