Like always a hight quality content from Kostantin! One of the best aviation chanel on YT. The only one which is real showing the real life of a pilot, flying small and medium planes. You are the only one who is not afraid to show the real life which some times is dealing with issues, flying not the best planes in the world but always with the smile on the face. You are a real pilot not a pilot showing only the best of it. Keep it up like this Kostantin ! Great job! Greating from EPWA Dan

Out of curiosity, do you fly the Saab on all its cargo flights, or are there standby pilots who fill in when you are involved elsewhere? No doubt this aircraft has been serving you well. However, is there another plane that you’ve ever seriously considered?

Another excellent video konstantin sir 👍🏻…your videos are literally an inspiration for me. Love your job and videos, hope i can also work in cargo airlines in europe once i complete my cpl. I am from india, do you have any suggestions on how to apply for European airlines and work there ?
@KFEAvia8 ай бұрын
It is not easy if you have no EU residence 🥲 But makes sense to try! Try India - i am sure a lot of pilots needed, there is a worldwide pilot shortage…

Hi Konstantin, enjoyed this video and I would say you made the right decision to fly to Santiago instead of Vigo. They probably weren't happy about having to get your freight from Vigo to Santiago but safety is the first priority. It is better to pay to extra to move freight and avoid an aviation mishap. It must have been challenging to fly in the 70 knot winds while inflight. On the first airport landing it was neat to see the plane come out of the cloud layer and seeing the runway for landing insight. Also the night takeoff was awesome with all of the runway lights in the darkness. Glad you made it safely to Santiago and landing at night in Vigo would be bad with the extra challenge of landing at night in the low visibility. Always appreciate how you talk us through each challenge you encounter in flight and share your decision making options with us.

@@johnforster5312 At Mt Isa, ground power was snagged by Qantas Link and so we waited and waited whilst it gradually run the battery down and down. Then the pilot decided to try the other engine and for whatever reason that one seemed to be a bit happier to light up and turn. We then sat there with doors open and everything off with the engine running, I’m assuming to put some charge back into the system to then start the reluctant side. Had numerous other encounters with the 340 and their age, but it seems to work for Rex at the moment. They must be storing up some big expenses soon though, they can’t keep running for ever?

Did not understand the problem: visibility seemed to be very good in Santiago (see 20:20), so why do you had to think about an alternative destination? Again it was fun to join you on that flight anyway - thanks!
@KFEAvia8 ай бұрын
Good question. We were heading to VIGO, visibility was RVR 500/325 meters. We need minimum 1200 meters. Therefore we went to Santiago as an alternate…

@@KFEAvia Sorry, I just saw the headline now: "Malta - Santiago (Divert from Vigo)". I assumed your destination airport was Santiago. I promise to read the headline more carefully next time 😀

The original plan was for them to fly to Vigo and had to divert to Santiago because of low visibility in Vigo.
