38:25 "... But if we are responsible for ourselves and have that deep integrity, then we will affect the consciousness of the world". The sooner people understand that simple TRUTH and apply it, the faster we will be living in a normal, rational, loving world!!!

25:05 Quote from this video: "When there is that sorrow ..and the thought does not enter it into it at all...which means you are completely sorrow, not that you are trying to overcome sorrow, you are totally sorrow. And when there is that totality of it, then there is a disappearance of it." Words that are worth more than GOLD to those who can understand them.

I just don't see, how the feeling of sorrow when it comes to the death of your beloved son, -as he opened up the entire talk with- is going to the different direction from love? as we all know, he himself, experienced an immense amount of sorrow, upon the death of his beloved brother when he was young. even animals with no sense of psychological ego, experience the sorrow when they lose a loving family member or friend over death. I guess what I am asking is: how come to feel, such a natural feeling, could be stigmatized like this?

I keep asking that myself as well. Especially the analogy to animals keeps me struggling. But does the sorrow lead to anything actually? He has his point that there is no compassion in sorrow. There might be self pity but no actual compassion. Whom do you actually pity? The beloved one gone or yourself for being left alone. I don't mean this in a harsh way whatsoever. I just want to share what I have observed for myself. Is letting go of the image of your beloved one cold and without love like society suggests or is it actually warm and full of love, allowing love and compassion to come about again.
