This documentary minutely investigates the clues around the assassination by poisoning of former KGB colonel, Alexander Litvinenko in London, 23rd of November, 2006. With help from Alexander Litvinenko's recounts told to Scotland Yard investigators just before his death, an international manhunt leads to the Kremlin - and is here told in full for the first time, with exclusive access to key individuals.

The use of a slow acting poison is to make sure the target will contact the police, the point is to show the world what happens to traitors while maintaining plausible deniability.

@@rosestephanierodriguez9084 im from russia and i can say that this is not correct. in his book he stated that he was working in kgb but then he has realised that his bosses were cooperating with russian mafia to make money. his bosses made a proposal - if he and his team will help them kill people, they will make a lot of money. They refused. after that they made a public statement that their bosses and putin were corrupted and basically gangsters and murderers. later he was arrested for 2 years, after he was released he managed to escape to london. our government killed him in revenge and so he cannot testify against russian president and his criminal friends-oligarchs

@kam0406
@kam0406 3 жыл бұрын
That is a very good point. The doctors had to do everything they could against a clock that was surely ticking to a certain death. It gave everyone the opportunity to hear what happened and who was responsible. It is a miracle this man was able to stay alive for weeks after this kind of poisoning, let alone speak in detail and answer police questions. This also gave his family time to say goodbye. The doctors provided amazing care. It should be noted in medical journals what protocol was utilized.

I just have problems with parents who dump spouses and children for a newer, shinier model.

What about the people who still drank tea at that Millennium Hotel's Pine Bar? If the cups were washed and they were still emitting radiations, then weren't the guests at that bar in danger as well? They said that a high polonium contamination was found. It means that until they started investigating, other people could've been contaminated as well, right?

What a terrible crime to poison ☠ someone to make them suffer is a serious type of evil . The judges statement at the end was very powerful

spygames. I liked the ones where old jews tell you about how they went to south america to hunt nazis. At least from them, you sort of get a warm feeling inside, lawless as those actions were.

the case was never hidden. it was open and public from the very first public interview and photos released of the dying man in the hospital bed. it simply took a number of years to come to the conclusion; the correct onew in my estimation.
