Mr Chohan had a successful business worth £5m. Kenneth Regan was known as Captain Cash from his drug dealing days, and along with his two henchmen, they hatched a plot to take over the Chohan’s business and use it to front their drug smuggling ring. Mr Chohan, his young wife, her mother, and the couple’s their two baby sons were lured into a trap and brutally murdered, covered up as an innocent but tragic sudden disappearance. The plot was only foiled by a family murder in New Zealand, refusing to believe that they would all vanish, as a result of tax avoidance or a business agreement gone sour. The bodies of the three adults washed up along the coasts of the UK, but the two babies were never found. This documentary, made for Channel 4 strand ‘Dispatches’ explores the heinous crimes and the investigation.

The universe is just a creation of the creator, like you & me. He is very offended when we worship what He made instead of Him, the creator. See what He did to the Egyptians who worshipped the sun (a part of the universe) ,they were the largest empire of their day until they tangled with God. Now they are cursed to never rise again. Are you so evolved that you worship a larger creation? It is still all part of creation. He wants us to recognize & come to know HIM, the creator of the universe.

That's awful... I was friends with two girls who had brain cancer already before they were in their 30s and met numerous other young people with different cancers while really young... Maybe it's anecdotal, but it just seems like cancer is getting a lot of young people these days :/ Anyway, I'm sorry for your loss and that your sis had to go through something like that. Mr Chauhan was such an intelligent man by actually keeping the letter in his socks. He knew this will help him get justice. Babies could be sold also as their bodies were never found. Yes unfortunately one of the criminals does say they got rid of five bodies including 2 babies. So incredibly sad. Such a beautiful happy family. Also, "selling babies" is not that easy, takes time, etc and though he is a criminal, you still need "expertise" in that field. He would take the trouble to do that to save their lives. It would be extra risk as well.

I almost wish this was true only because I cannot comprehend the need for them to be killed. The adults perhaps as they can raise the alarm but the children? As someone who has lost a brother tragically, I can relate to this brother in the documentary. The one thing that remains the same is that when u look back at the death of a family member, years can go by but the the day they died seems like it just happened yesterday. I know it’s hard to want to do right in this life and I get both sides of the death penalty , but there’s evil people like this guy that really shouldn’t be alive being able to breathe, eat, and sleep in peace in a jail that taxpayers are paying for . Prisoners are also given jobs, be apart of special programs , even getting college degrees . What’s more disturbing and scary but true is the fact there’s millions of people who just as evil or even much more evil than these murderers . The fact that’s there’s humans that can do even worse, I know there’s nothing more evil than to hurt a child …but the acts of evil against children are far much worse that people are doing these days .

She said in her book that she split from her ex husband on good terms. Wonder why he didn't pay the school fees? Unless one of the children had a different partner. Buying 7 bedroom house with a boyfriend who you don't know if he wants a commitment is brave. She said he left her and it went from him paying mortgage to her paying it.

If Belinda thinks everyone believes she was totally oblivious of what was happening she is mistaken. She moved from the area, no contact for 4yrs because he’s inside and then all of a sudden he tips up. I think she waited for him. She is offered 54k for 2 days and she has no experience. He then ups it by 20k in seconds. She knew it was all dodgy because she was dodgy herself. That’s why by her second day of a 2 day week she was ‘feeling ill’. She can rewrite history now he is banged up for life. I feel for the family. The brother has a broken heart. But I hope he can see his sister had a happy marriage and loved her family.

Mr. Chohan made a mistake in life himself and seems to have gotten on with his life while retaining a very kind heart that led him to believe people deserve a second chance if they are sincere. Regan did only four years due to throwing his peers under the bus. He seems to have been an extremely convincing man with excellent verbal skills; a master con artist. It would have been extremely easy to convince many people upon his release that his crime was not particularly serious, or even that he was a person (now highly “remorseful” “dragged” into crime by shrewd “drug lords.” If Mr. Chohan, having served time himself, found him convincing, it is not a stretch to understand why a sheltered socialite, having recently lost her relationship, with two kids to support, would be an easy mark. She presents as less than savvy, rather dependent and a person who would be extremely easy to manipulate by anyone who flatters her and tells her what she wants to hear. He shrewdly conveyed to all those around her that he was “obsessed” with her. This would be very effective in obscuring the fact that she was actually his other mark. It would have also been perhaps a new, heady experience that would explain in her mind why he would pay any wage necessary to “keep” her around. This man was a highly versatile skillful, ruthless killer. He was and will remain an exceedingly dangerous, wily apex predator. In particular, his skills as a con artist meant that neither Mr Chohan nor Belinda were any match for him whatsoever. The police praised Belinda’s assistance highly and they were the ones in the position to be most informed on all the details of the case versus the reduced summary we are given in a documentary or an abbreviated news story. I would suggest that, for the sake of both her and her children, it might be best to avoid stigmatizing this family and let them get on with their lives. Engaging in victim blaming, Monday morning quarter- backing and playing amateur sleuth from the comfort of an armchair have all ruined many lives needlessly…and toward what end? To make the viewer feel smarter than all those concerned?

My earliest memory is watching the life drain from my baby sisters eyes. My mother took her life and the lives of two of my other sisters. She was charged but committed suicide before he trial was set to begin. I was shown how evil people can be, even those you are expected to trust the most, and this lesson was one I learned from the very beginning of my life. The experience and trauma shaped my life and who I am in more ways than I can even begin to put into words. But of all the lessons that I have taken away from the horrors of my childhood I am able to say that there is one in particular which has been ingrained in my mind the strongest and most defined. Without question that lesson is that no matter how well you may feel that you know someone, no matter how close you feel that you are to them, and no matter how certain you are that they are truly the person you believe them to be - you will never know another person completely and everyone you ever meet is capable of things that you would never believe them to be capable of. I am not saying that means no one can be trusted but rather that when you find out that a person you felt was trustworthy has acted in a way which defies your belief of who they are as a person, that is not unusual and should not be shocking, as they are just fitting into this system of possibilities like everyone else. No one is an exception to this rule.

I don't know if it's just me, but Belinda sounds like a good actor. Her talking about her suspicions are too exaggerated and still makes the interviewer believe that she's not getting any of what's happening at first. I suspect that she's an aware accomplice, if not she probably knew along but she too had a goal of her own. Probably thinking that she would benefit a lot from it.

I got teary-eyed watching this. Rest in peace, Mr. Chohan was a very clever man. He helped convict his family’s killers. I hope the killers would confess what they did to the babies x

I've seen many documentaries on death and murder but this just seems so tragic. Can't get my head round it. If it weren't for certain people and coincidences that occurred, the bodies may never have been found and the killers could've gotten away with it. Kenneth Regan didn't think his ploy through well enough, otherwise he'd have banked on other relatives raising the alarm and cleaned out the family home. Mr Chauhan was too trusting and it sadly cost him and his family their lives. I do wonder whether it was him that stuffed the document in his sock or if police could've planted it. Either way if it brought justice I don't care, the killers deserved it. The family video is sad anyway, seeing how happy and loving they all were but for me, what I find haunting about it is it's as if in some weird way they were saying goodbye without actually knowing it.

@@larrypage7753 no one gets the chair unless they elect to be executed that way, not many murderers even violent and sexually perverted offenders get executed. And a person on death row, due to the highly involved rights to appeals that must be exhausted) before they are executed after about 20 or so years, costs more money to taxpayers (than someone who dies of old age on a life sentence). I thought this was common knowledge

@@larrypage7753 what's the point in having the death penalty in the US when very few convicted ever see their sentences carried out? It's extremely costly to tax payers there to keep just a single inmate alive on death row. Leave them in gen pop and they'll not only be cheaper to house, but inmates dish out their own justice.
