Rocky, a young man, seeks power and wealth in order to fulfil a promise to his dying mother. His quest takes him to Mumbai, where he gets involved with the notorious gold mafia.

K.G.F: Chapter 1 is a 2018 Indian Kannada-language period action film written and directed by Prashanth Neel, and produced by Vijay Kiragandur under the banner Hombale films. It is the first instalment in the two-part series, followed by K.G.F: Chapter 2. The film centres around Raja Krishnappa Bairya "Rocky", born into poverty, who arrives in Bombay (now Mumbai) in the 1960s, on a quest for power and wealth as desired by his dying mother. Involved with the gold mafia there, he is recruited to kill Garuda, the oppressive heir-in-waiting, in Kolar Gold Fields. Yash stars as Rocky, while Ramachandra Raju features as Garuda. Anant Nag narrates the film while also playing a supporting role alongside Srinidhi Shetty, Vasishta N. Simha, Ayyappa P. Sharma and Harish Rai. At the 66th National Film Awards, the film won 2 awards for Best Action and Best Special Effects.

Yes..there is very little CGI and VFX used in kgf 1 and more in kgf 2 (for locations)...Mostly these scenes are made in karnataka (kolar gold fields) in real areas....really a masterpiece movie from kannada film industry(kollywood)..!! By the way the heroine(reena) real name outside is Srinidhi Ramesh Shetty is an model and is the winner of the Miss Supranational 2016 pageant. She was crowned as Miss Diva Supranational 2016 at the Miss Diva - 2016 pageant and later represented India at Miss Supranational 2016, which she won actually...loved your both reactions with goosebumps feeling...but little disappointed in end with muting of BGM due to copyright issues....but For this kind of movies BGM is the soul and heart of the movies...which actually elevates mood....waiting eagerly for hammer fight scene and climax head cut scene(requesting to upload your reaction video for these scenes with BGM please..) thanks a lot for reacting ...lots of love from India 🇮🇳...!!

This movie is filmed at original Kolar fields with no CGI but with huge sets.., Also, when rocky got hurt he put soil on it not dirt. It is ancient indian way of healing. According to our civilizational scriptures people are made of 5 earthly elements i.e water, air, fire, soil(earth) and space. So putting soil treats everything ( this was used in ancient times way before medicine as a field was born)
