Stiff suspension and having the bearring not further out is why you bent the axle so easily.

Did you really need to add the other shaft? Couldn't you have just changed the size of one or both the main sprockets?

Nice build, I'm impressed with the suspension. Still needs something for the rear, bounces too much, maybe laying the shocks down might help, don't know. Just keep playing with it and iron out the bugs, that's what makes it fun.

No broke bones , looks like you guys had a lot of fun and even leaned a few things . The bounce your getting from the swing arm , it needs to have more offset lower from the pivot point , this will generate down force . As it is setup now the force or torque is lifting creating that bounce and with out going to independent suspension you will likely have a bit of hope anyway. My grandson and I have built a scale version (6.5 hp) and look like he is already needing more power and better chassis so I like the way you built the cage hope it ok if we copy some of your design. Great content and all around good dudes . Your dad I’m sure is proud as should be ! Keep it on four wheels or at least two with WOT ( wide open throttle)

Great build guys! Glad you got to spend some time with your dad. Your videos rock. Sucks about the atv ban last year!! We lost most of the season to it here in BC. This year I'm buying a Polaris ranger so I hope the fire season will relax and let us enjoy the summer sunshine. And hey.. I just bought my original buggy that I built in 2010 back for $150. So I'll have a good project this summer! Maybe if you guys are into it we could meet up at some point and go for a ride? I live close by and I'd be happy to meet you guys. Well anyway guys. Thanks for the update. Can't wait to see more

Should put a quad rear end it would help with sudden jerks too the chain

It was an old John Deere 440 2 stroke snowmobile engine. John Deere use to make snowmobiles way back in the 70s, I think it started in the 60s. The slogan "Nothing Runs Like A Deere" was from the snowmobile line.

Unfortunately, we don't have any plans... It was all off the top of our head through trial and error. The best I can give you is what you find in the videos. Sorry. Also, thank you for being a fan of the channel
