Currently run by Partners: Sanket N. Mirwankar and Dattatray T. Mirwankar.
The restaurant started on 1st Dec 1941 as a milk and sweets business like Panshikars but immediately transformed itself into a full-fledged casual diner. They catered to all the theatre artists who had a quick bite before and after completing their plays at Dadar’s famous Shivaji Mandir.

खूप जुनं हॉटेल हे दादर मधलं. आम्ही कॅडेल रोडला राहायचो. खरेदीला किंवा फिरायला स्टेशनकडे आलो की आदर्श दिसल्यावर पोटात भुक उसळायची. आपला बालमोहनचा कार्यक्रम झाला तेव्हा घरी जाताना मी आवर्जून भेट दिली आणि समाधानाने घरी गेलो. Thank you स्पृहा.

There are very few authentic Maharashtrian restaurants available these days and Adarsh is definitely one of them. It is a great achievement that Adarsh has maintained the standards for so many years while continuing to stick with their principles too. Usually restaurant food is associated with hot, oily and spicy taste however here is one restaurant which gives you authentic homely taste.

लहानपणापासून ह्याच हाॅटेल मधील खादडी केली आहे. मी अगदी दर शनिवारी प्रायमरी शाळेच्या मधल्या सुट्टी तिथे खायला जायची. शिवाय माहेरचेच हाॅटेल म्हणून भावपण खायची( बटाटा वडा, कोथिंबीर वडी, मिसळ ह्यांच्या बरोबर.)कोथिंबीर घातलेला बटाटा वडा माझा खास फेवरिट आहे.चविष्ट व झणझणीत. माझे भाऊ व भाचे आता वडिलांचा वारसा समर्थपणे पुढे चालवत आहेत ही पण माझ्यासाठी खूप समाधानाची गोष्ट आहे
