Mcgregor got introduced as the pride of Ireland at the start of the fight yet most Irish people think he is a disgrace to represent us and the 🇮🇪. When khabib said he was going to smash our boy and then did exactly what he said he was going to do he gained a lot of Irish fans. I was never a big UfC fan and would never buy a mcgregor fight but I did buy the Khabib vs Poirier fight. 👍

Also MontageKing back in the day. Mans was really bout it with his top10 lists. There was another decent mma youtuber whose name escapes me right now. I think the channel had the word ‘mind’ in it somewhere. He takes a more philosophical approach (and also sells green tea pills or something on the side) who has pretty good breakdown vids. @@retseh well, this is just my personal opinion, but i don't think his "conservatism" should be seen as a virtue. he believes people who criticize (or even make innocuous jokes) about islam should be threatened and dealt with violently, he holds inherently distasteful views about homosexuals, women, apostates, etc, all of which stem from his religious fundamentalism. and it probably doesn't seem that way to people who only listen to english-speaking news outlets, but if you look up some of the things he's said in eastern media, he uses his success as a justification for all these fundamentalist ideals. to consider it from another perspective, if yoel romero, a staunch roman catholic, had said or done any of these things, the media would have a field day with it. khabib is a beneficiary of media bias in this regard. again, this is all my opinion and has absolutely nothing to do with his skills as a fighter, which nobody can reasonably deny. nor should my comments be interpreted as any sort of defense of conor mcgregor - they aren't. mcgregor is a douchebag too, but for different reasons.

They’re willing to sell their dignity and their country’s people with dirt cheap. They’re exactly like the leaders of dark ages Europe. Keep in mind I’m not trying to defend my culture my religion, I’m only trying to give you a glimpse of how complex and deep our culture is. I obviously don't know him, but I smoke weed, drink, encourage women to have sex outside of marriage, swear, don't believe in any god nor do I want any religious precepts enforced by any government, etc. Khabib doesn't think women should fight in MMA because that is the way he shows his respect for women, I get that, but I don't agree, I think it's more respectful to allow them to fight.
