I love the thoughtfulness that Khabib displays when he's interviewed. His intellectual and emotional maturity is a direct reflection of his father. As a man, he's grown into quite the specimen, and I'm sure that his father is proudly looking down on him as we speak. He's going to do everything he can to honor his father even after death, so to him, losing to Gaethje isn't an option at all.
@jlang7705
@jlang7705 3 жыл бұрын
Not to be overly critical, but when you mention Emotional Maturity, are you talking about when he jumped over the fence, and started a brawl at UFC 229 and endangered the fans? Or are you talking about when him and his crew surrounded a homeless man in New York, and made him do push ups for food? Or are you talking about when him and his crew surrounded Artim, and slapped him a few times ? Just curious

Getting damn close to starting a riot in an arena isn't a good look imo, as bad ass as that moment was, it was not a good move. I still think khabib is a very decent lad, but Connor brought the worst in him. And also slapping the goat while he is surrounded by goons was a bit of a bitch move. My father passed in 2018. My mom, last year. So I know exactly how Khabib is feeling right now. And my heart goes out to him, and those that love and miss his dad, as well. And if he, or anyone that knows Khabib reads this, all I can say is, stay strong, brother. And just know that even those we loved in this life, are gone now, and only a void remains, try to think of it these terms... When your dad was here, he loved you, raised you, taught you, and did everything he could do to insure your successes. But he could NOT step inside that cage with you. Now he CAN. He is, and will be with you in there from now on. I truly believe that. Hang in there, Khabib. You will never stop missing him, but eventually the thoughts you have of him will turn from pain, to a sense of peace, calm, and gratitude. In that you were blessed to have been lucky enough to have him as your father. Much love to you, man.

It's very sad that their village, and Dagestan as a whole, lost such an incredible and important man. There's a lot of people devastated when someone as impactful as Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov passes. Some of them lost their birth father, and then their surrogate father, that must be very hard. I hope Khabib and all of his family, village, and republic can learn to live with such a massive loss. I hope Khabib can still be the same monster in the cage that he always is. All those who have lost a Father that they were close to know, there is a special bond between a man and his son...It hurts. Lost mine just before ThanksGiving this year, it was brutal and prolonged. He was the first loss in my immediate family....Those who have lost someone in that core unit...Know, whether, Mother, Father, Sister, Brother....IT changes your perspective....Life is looked at differently. Such a short time here...Truly they mean it that nothing stays the same....Learn and truly understand it now or be forced to later. Make the best out of what you have and what you can do for others...Not for reward, not for some hope that after here there is something else. Help others....ISNT PUTTING A SMILE ON SOMEONE ELSE'S FACE ENOUGH? Thanks for the vid.

Lost my brother this year, you’re right about that. It’s something that never leaves you. But with the right perspective it can help you prioritize the correct things in life and bring urgency in areas you’ve been slacking.

@Kkkk Bbbb Yep. It's funny how we never hear Khabib's name when it comes to sexual assaults, punching old men etc etc How Conor can even consider himself in the top 10 best MMA fighters ever, let alone THE best ever is ludicrous. Conor's brought a lot of eyes to the sport, and undoubtedly made it more popular but, as a person, is a narcissistic twat - so far below Khabib as a person that it's not even funny.

Gaethje said Khabib's weakness was he thought he was infallible. From this statement, I can easily say Gaethje does not know anything about Islamic teachings. No Muslim can believe they are infallible for only God is infallible. If a Muslim believes he is infallible, he is no longer a Muslim.

I think Justin should’ve said “Khabib thinks his fighting strategy is infallible”. Instead of saying “Khabib thinks he’s infallible”. Because technically it is infallible, his style has always worked and hasn’t been beaten yet, that’s why Khabib might get confidence from realizing his style will always win him fights, hopefully Justin proves us all wrong in their fight and makes Khabib an even better fighter for it.
