As research for my breakdowns on Khabib Nurmagomedovs wrestling and take down techniques I employed a Russian translator to subtitle various training videos. I provide the video here for archival purposes. I hope it is something you enjoy as I have a few other videos like this if you are interested.

Yeap👍👍. He walks it like he talks it. But only because he is technical... Most fighters dont reallyyyy focus on being (technical) but instead they just TRAIN HARD... its a huge difference. Anyyyybody can TRAIN HARD and get TIRED but not alot of fighters actuallty FOCUS on (technique)... This is why khabib is soooo dominant, or mayweather, or any good athlete in ANY sport, rather its kobe, jordan the 2best EVER because they are (technical) they THINK... and stick to the basics.

Khabib uses a mix of Judo and Wrestling. He'll chain wrestle from a double or single leg he couldn't finish, move to the clinch and use ashi-waza (foot throwing techniques).

Yes they can and do get used in freestyle wrestling. Mostly by Russian and Old Soviet bloc countries. You'll find similarity in techniques with all the grappling arts (Judo, Sambo, Jiu Jitsu, Catch, Folkstyle, Freestyle, Greco, Mongolian Wrestling, and Other Traditional Wrestling Styles)
