Stellar playing from JMH as usual, but a tad on the rushed side, it seems.

I love this concerto, I enjoyed Hamelin's performance, but the decision to replace the musical saw that's called for in the second movement with whatever that flat-sounding whistle was made me sad. It took away the haunting beauty of the movement and made it seem lifeless.
