Kay, I can remember when I realized my mom was a WOMAN and not just my mother. I mean she was still magical, still the problem solver, the mighty encourager yet a woman. I was 19 years old and she was sitting in our livingroom, in the dark with makeup on, dressed up and listening to Luther Vandross. At the time I didn't know it but was she was supposed to go out on her 1st date after being divorced from my Dad for over 3 years and she couldn't get up the nerves to go. That night we became bestfriends, more than mother and daughter we talked for hours, she shared some life stories which made me appreciate and love her even more. I'm glad we had that moment on that day and now that she is gone I can say my mom was my very best friend. Its something that will never go away and I wish more ppl would have that experience with their parents. They are human, their feelings get hurt, they get lonely, and they might not always have the answers but they will always be Mom or Dad. Love seeing you with your mom brought back some good memories for me. You did a great job on your mom's hair💞

AWWW WHAT A TRansformation- congrats. As I watched I could not help but remember my own mom going to her hairdresser on a Saturday in Jamaica and I always wondered how could she sit under a dryer for over an hour. My Mom and my aunts all had their hair CREAM - that's how It was referred to in Jamaica. You did a great job Khadee and your Mom is so beautiful; Great vid.
