It's been a minute since the first batch.
To be frank: it's way more fun making beats than recording & filming them. That's why it took me so long. But after over 6 months since the first batch I had more than enough beat sketches to choose from. These beats aren't finished or thoroughly produced, they are not properly mixed or mastered. Chances are they never will be. But I enjoyed making them. If you care for one of them, just tell me. If you have constructive criticism or any insight into how I could get more or better sound out of the SP, please tell me!
If you're just here in order to listen to some beats, I sincerely hope you'll enjoy them. In case you did enjoy them, please spread the word, share it and tell your friends. One!
P.S.: As in the first batch, all beats are exclusively produced on the SP1200.

Dope , I Just got a SP unexpectedly , how do you get the sample in sync with the beat ?

how do you mean? to make samples fit each other‘s tempo, there are numerous ways.. pitching (slowing the sample down or speeding it up)or stretching (making the sample longer or shorter without changing pitch).. you can pitch, but to my knowledge not stretch on the SP1200.. you can prolong a sample by looping it or parts of it.. and you can chop accordingly.. i hope that helps ☺️

4 loops in the first song man? Did you speed it up at 45 and +8 or more? Was that all strictly done on the 1200?

hey! yes, every beat comes only from the sp1200.. it depends on what i'm going for sample- or soundwise.. if time management is an issue, i do a trick i've learned from INVHIDE: i sample first into a MPC, pitch it up really fast, up to 16 semitones and then pitch it back down via the setup menu on the sp.. like this you can almost double your memory.. plus you can chop it already on the MPC and use the threshold on the sp to be more precise.. sometimes i already mix/filter it on the MPC..
