“true fans” understand why you took the fight, any fighter is gonna jump at a title shot. We are criticizing the UFC for booking this fight around the same time that Ankalaev is fighting. Just because a fight is exciting doesn’t mean that it’s the right fight to make.

But it's the internet so every has to always assume that everyone is cheating and lying and everything is the worst possible scenario it could be.

@@NewDarkKnight Nope. I've been a die hard mma fan for 20 years and I know most of them were on gear at some point. However, khalil has had the same muscular build his entire career, his physique hasn't changed before, during, or after usada. On top of that he has yet to present any evidence of using a performance enhancing substance (banned substances are different from PEDs) so until I'll believe him until I have a reason not to. Innocent until proven guilty. You must be the guy who believes all ufc fighters are using PEDs.

I hear you. I think people forget that Izzy out of all people took him down. Sure, we could argue that he's gotten way better with his TD and GD, hence his fight with Jan but I still think it's an area that could and should be greatly exploited. He also got pretty gassed out against Izzy if I recall and yes it was at a lower weight class but I don't think his cardio is the greatest. Fighters just have the biggest egos man. They always tryna one-up the other person, show everyone who's boss by beating someone at their own game/bread and butter.

The only one that is allowed to have any criticism is Ankalaev. Jiri has been KOd twice, Jamal got KOd 4 months ago. Jan hasn't fought since july of 2023 where he lost..to Alex. Khalil is on a 5 fight win streak and is a legit contender. I honestly like the fight.
