Khalistan is not a feasible plan considering where Punjab is located. Pakistan treats Sikhs horribly even today.

Most Sikhs do not even wear turbans today in Canada and USA. You are talking about the fundamentalist orthodox Sikhs. Some of these Sikhs may not even consider those that do not wear turbans as Sikhs, as they do have weird views trying to up their importance. They generally discount Guru Nanak and his teachings, often it conflicts with Guru Gobind Singh's teaching especially how these fundamentalist deliberately mis interpret Guru Gobind Singh words for their benefit. Having said that I know many turban wearing Sikhs who are moderates educated and really excellent people, again they are rarely in the news.

Nobody in the mainstream hindutva movement, be it modi, BJP, RSS or even Yogi adityanath endorses that concept. Second of all, the concept itself doesn't endorse seperatism. Nobody is demanding an independent ethno religious state based on hinduism, seperate from india, unlike the khalistan movement. The demand is just to 'declare' the country as a hindu rashtra, just like how israel is a jewish state. Thirdly, there is no provision of any kind of discrimination against the minorities in that concept, and especially NOT against sikhs. Therefore, spreading an irrational paranoia of 'hindu supremacy' doesn't make any sense. Fourthly, your argument is blatantly absurd as it's based on 'whatsaboutism'. By the same logic, one can argue that look ISIS terrorists are fighting for an islamic state, so we should too. I didn't find anything relevant in this video except for the fact that one should stick to nationalism. Punjab saw aggression because Congress wanted to rule the state but couldn't get an entry in elections. It was simple congress was neither Hindu ever nor Punjabi they were and are just congress. They couldn't win because of that mindset which was partly British and partly Indian upper class. So to disturb peace in Punjab which was run by akalis then , Bhindrawale was placed by then RAW and intelligence agencies and Indira Gandhi gave her consent. It was about time that Bhindrawale was successful and over powered Akalis and took areas and gurudwaras under him for management as akalis were getting greedy of the money in these temples. It was then Bhindrawale became aware of congress motives and place a rebuttal. Losing control over Punjab Indira Gandhi new that of she took bold steps of hurting sentiments of fearless Sikhs she will have to pay for it.... It was then RSS who pushed Lal Krishna advani to force Indira and attack the golden temple for a man who was a silent soldier of Indira. Advani in his book clear mentions that it was due to RSS backing Indira took the decision and new it was her last.... She gave herself as her consciousness was broken. In India if you break a temple or built one your generations are not made to forget it may it makes you famous or derogatory. Amritpal has been planted and clearly has political backing and Centre govt has 2 tools to operate on him and make a lesson out of him. NIA and UAPA...no questions asked and can take anyone without needing or giving a justification.

There is nothing wrong in future. Do you feel anything what's going on in Kashmir kerela or Bengal ? For people like Amritpal they will not be able to push Punjabis in this way as Punjabis don't believe in getting divided. Genocide did have a lot of Hindus from Congress and BJP side but there were even more Hindus who saved Sikh families in northern India. This was not forgotten. But civil wars and such anti national issues will happen atleast in news until 2024 elections as there is nothing in development to ask by BJP as we are bleeding in economy and a recession which is just round the corner and an Opposition which is divided and weak. Hence let the elections pass you will see Indian peaceful again.

I am from Delhi. And bro, this situation is very complex. We Hindus never saw them differently but since 1970s, there have been constant attempts within sikh community to dissociate themselves from us Hindus. Just branding a new image as a religion which is superior to Hinduism and Islam. We Hindus worshipped sokh gurus who were originally Hindus btw as the baptism to pure sikhs was introduced only by the last guru. This radicalism is gaining moment now. Sikhs used to go to temple 30 yrs before and now they don't, very few of them does. While Hindus still go to gurudwaras regularly and speaking from personal experience, clergies working in these gurudwaras has also started to feel superior and they literally look down on Hindus. I feel infuriated.

For more than 70 years, Punjabi Hindus have been forced to believe they have no identity in their state. Punjab means Sikhs, period! This thinking has percolated down to the average Bhartiya also. So much so that many Hindus upon visiting Amritsar for the first time make it their duty to pay respects at Har Mandir Sahib or the Golden Temple. I have no objection to this. But my problem is that many among us have forgotten that Punjab also means Hindus. That Amritsar also has Durgiana Mandir and most importantly, that we Hindus have given birth to Sikh Panth. This is such a sorry state of affairs! Imagine forgetting your homeland just because we have been taught to ONLY RESPECT SIKH PANTH AND ITS GURUS! And what has all this led to? Now Kstanis ridicule us and our devtas and devis and use every opportunity to spoil our temples. Just see the photos above; they are clearly the handiwork of Kstamis! They think that Hindus are like the laborers in Punjab who have no self-respect and morality. Perhaps the Kstanis are 100% right. I have seen so many posts n social media about the 1984 Sikh holocaust but none about the large scale murders of Hindus in the 1980s and the early 1990s. Captain Amrinder Singh has said in one of his interviews that more than 30, 000 Hindus lost their lives at the peak of the Kstani movement. Yet, we don’t mourn our dead because we believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam! We will cry for the Gaza victims, we will cry for the Jews and we will also cry for Ukraine. Yet, no tears for the thousands of Hindu men and women in Punjab who were killed by Kstanis. If this isn’t hypocrisy, then what is it then?

I met a cab driver yesterday who was using Amritpal’s pic as an inner banner in his car. He was a Khalistan supporter and said he doesn’t think India has his own country. I asked him some questions based on economy, politics and governance. He had no idea about it actively said that Khalistan will take support from Pakistan. All I saw was a lack of good education. I wish governments were there but as per the driver even previous govt supported Khalistan movement. He shared that farmers protest also had funding from outside India by Khalistan supporters. Education is really important! Note: He was living in India alone with family staying in England.
