Inspect that whipple after 500 miles. It shouldn't be that noisy. A lot of Whipple issues. Gen 6 was suppose to add more bracing on the front bearing support.

The latest good Gen 6 should have about a 2 and 5 o:clock support on front bearing. Bad design was just one at 4:30

@@user-yx3gk3rg3v whipples are known to “eat”themselves at very high power applications. The rotors have a coating and chips away itself and ends up in the engine. A fuck ton of pressure when pushing high boost. Turbos are more bang for buck at a certain level, we need someone who builds good superchargers for those high hp outputs that can last

If, by E you mean E85, the 170 requires it. Both generations run on “pump gas” as both E85 and 100 octane you can get at the pump, at least in California.
