I also would like to thank gunfire for building a game that can provide countless hours of quality AAA content for a price that is incredibly low in this day and age. We live in a time where KZbinrs are basically begging developers to make smaller games. Most people have to purchase games and don't rely on clicks when games come out and need to rush to the next game that is coming out in a few days. Some of us can only afford a game every few months or maybe less. So when a developer like gunfire comes out here and delivers this type of content on this scale it's just not overlooked by some of us gunfire. There are many of us out there that really appreciate it and the fact is the games really not that big it's how it's packaged and delivered. You can beat the game in not a lot of time but if you want to experience everything you can dump hundreds of hours into this game and I love that and I appreciate that. My point is it seems like this industry is going in a direction where games are going to be smaller and I appreciate the developers who still put out a product that has plenty of content. What a great game Remnant 2 is

A cool way to make an explosive long gun could be a large Machine Gun style weapon that fires explosive rounds and starts off slow, but winds up while you hold the trigger, increasing fire rate. You could even have it be a heat build-up weapon with the windup slowly reduce gradually when not being fired, allowing for players to maintain fire rate while avoiding overheating.

It's super cool to hear one of the devs talking about how and what they did to make they're game, Remnant 2 is definitely my game of the year. Still wish they had a model viewer/bestiary though, the enemy designs are so cool it's criminal that it's so hard to get a really good look at them lol.

As for item search: some games make an easy search by item text. Type "mod" you get anything that has the word "mod" in it somewhere. Et cetera. No categories needed or anything. Just a simple equivalent to an Array.find() call or something. By using that you can pretty much find anything. Search by name? Fine. Search by what it does? Sure, with the right query, no problem. Search by flavor text? If you want, why not. One input field and you are done. Granted, it might be a bit tricky to do it for consoles, but hey - should be possible with a bit of UI trickery as well.

It's great in a lot of ways that games can be updated, but there are also some downsides.... There is something to be said for being able to return to a game years later and have it be exactly how you remember. You build still works, they didn't nerf a bunch of stuff and make the game easy, etc. The fact that there were so many games meant that I didn't get a chance to play lies of P until recently and I find it frustrating that I can never experience that level of difficulty for myself. Like that challenge is just gone forever. I was there for the intial release of d3 and recall vividly the 'just double it' mentality that drove that games design. Ben is so right here because that period of time where the game was ridiculously over tuned became an era in the RL lore of diablo 3 which I remember fondly. It was bullshit, yes, but the challenge was really fun for me and my friends. I think making fundamental changes to a game outside of a major 'expansion' (as we used to call them back in the day) quality DLC or entirely new game is harmful in a lot of ways. We're only in this situation BECAUSE game companies abuse the ability to patch the game day 1 by releasing half finish slop which pretty much demands non-stop changing of every game that comes out. I find this annoying.

Hey if you can pass it along Ruri(or if you see this Tragic) Stacking movespeed to 150-200% is pointless, there's a steep falloff after like 40% to the point once you hit 45-50% you see basically no noticeable benefit.

I just got to 31minutes in, and I’m just gonna comment and say, Merciless is without a doubt my fucking favorite. Build into it, and it can demolish rooms. Also like to add: I played From the Ashes like a mf’er when it was available for free on Playstation, and that got me hooked. When R2 came out i was hooked for about 2 months and did my apoc run eventually. Now I casually play on Apoc. Then I put the game down for a long minute. But I saw the event on socials, and you bet your ass that uptick in players was because of the event. Update: through the whole interview. You guys are the dopest devs. Amazing team, amazing leadership. I would love to see an alternative ways to getting Savior. Even just moving the reqs to survivor over vet. I’ve cleared Apocalypse and can start my HC character with World’s Edge and Starkiller, not everyone can. the challenge is good. I personally would love to see more than 1 method for a primary that deals elemental damage; specifically a corrosive weapon would be nice to pair with Nebula. Cheers on making such a wicked ass game man!

Yea this game...ugh. listen if u like it i get it, it had me enjoying it for 80% of my first playthrough....then that last part hit. I realized how there were only 3 worlds, and the last one was just earth but root corrupted. That last boss...yeeesh, what a slog. I statted the dlc expansion for the one true king and it was just 80% small hallways with green poison guys flooding u knocking u off ledges and literallt two copy paste bosses that are a stack of bodies with a hit box... yikes. Yaesha was my favorite world, the secrets were more bothersome than fun because they lock 60% of the ganes cool weapons and armor behind it. Honestly i think theres a good reason this game is underrated...its a fucking MESS. Some bosses like the custodians eye, red prince, and Sha'la reallt shine, this game feels GREAT when the elemenrs are working in its favor but...god...when this game is bad...its a fucking mess. WAY nore cluttered and messy than lords of the fallen. I actually went back to Lords after this and i appreciated it way more. Gotta say, this studio has a lot tk learn in the future. If you like the game dont attack me, this us coming from a would-be fan who was let down and devastated after loving it for my first 15- 25 hours.

TWO IDEAS! Duel wield pistols with rapid fire mod where the pistols have the highest fire rate in game and you gain mobility while it’s active. (smoking barrel affect while mod is active)When I think of duel wield pistols I think of someone sprinting around like John wick, maybe the guns are called wicks sticks 😂idk Also, mod that you can equipped to any gun with a open mod slot that when you reload it does 3x explosive damage to any enemy hit with a round from the mag.

This game is incredible, as is the DLC. My only issue is the green crawling enemies that spawn those floating orbs (they kind of look like Coronavirus) and they explode do too much damage and are very spongy. If they were toned down a bit, I think that would be awesome. Otherwise, the DLC is great!

@cavsfightingroom369210 ай бұрын
Ruri thanks for roasting me in every video, when talking about respec lol. You misunderstood me, when I made that comment and didn't read my comment afterwards. What I meant was that if you plan ahead and know what kind of play style you prefer, you'll know kinda know what to invest in and therefor have less reason to have respec early. For example I'm a ungo bungo style player and just need to know, what stats allow that beforehand, for example I played that way elden ring, DS, BB, lies of P and lords without ever needing a respec. that was my point. I'm not against respec early since sometimes stuff changes or you find something you didn't plan to use, but you made it sound like I was saying hey get a wiki you stupid player, which I never meant or said. Just wanted to make that clear

I think my sole 'disappointment' with this game is that Labrynth & Root Earth weren't procedure generated! They've done alot with both to make them really good in & of themselves absolutely, but by comparison to Yaesha, Losomne & N'rude I find myself longing for similar generation to those! The beginning & end points should stay the same but the in-between I'd like to see more bosses, items lore tidbits etc. Beyond that I kinda wanted more Yaesha & Reg earth stuff! In From the Ashes we could face off against/ side with Krell I believe? Can't remember for sure but I'd like those enemy & NPC types to return. Even some of the human interactions on Earth with enemies etc could be cool, Earth in From the Ashes was one of my favourite points to explore & with the world stones there's even more potential!
