DNA : DNA is a thread like structure present inside the nucleus that contains instructions to make an organism (and all its parts incluing all the various cells) and its characteristic features. Chromosome : Long strands of DNA coiled up in a compact form. Total chromosomes : 46 chromosomes in total (constituting 23 from male parent and 23 from female parent) Gene: Specific parts of DNA that contain instructions to make a specific protein. Variation is the most important advantage of sexual reproduction over asexual. 12:28 Enjoyed the lecture very much 😊

HOMEWORK :- 📌 D.N.A is a chemical molecule which carries traits in coded form. These are found in the nucleus of the cell. 📌 Chromosomes are long thread like coiled up D.N.A. which contains hereditary information in the form of gene. 📌 Human cells have 23 pairs of chromosomes OR total 46 chromosomes. 📌 Genes are the part of chronological which controls a specific biological function. 📌 Main advantages of sexual reproduction over asexual are :- • In sexual reproduction there are two parents involved , due to this the child got two types of DNA , which makes the offspring unique. • In sexual reproduction , there are high chances of variation which makes life of the species more existable.

* dna is the genetic material of an organism. it acts like an instruction manual to create a particular organism. it is found in the nucleus. *chromosomes are the condensly coiled up versions of dna. * human cells have 46 total amount of chromosomes *genes are portions of dna which contain instructions to build a protein. *sexual reproduction unique organisms are formed( as there as Dna's of mother and father), more number of variations are present which help in survival of species.
