7:27 Instead of increasing the length, can't we increase the area of cross section of the transistor with the length of emitter and collector being same?

As we also have to increase cross section area of emitter..then it will be difficult to heavily dope the emitter...small area=heavy doping is easy ....so instead length is increased

Is collector base is reversed biased or collector emitter is reversed biased?

I remember having this doubt while studying transistors :). Although the connection is between the collector and emitter, there is no junction between them. There are only two junctions collector base and base emitter, so it's only those junctions that can be biased, either forward or reverse. Hope this clarifies your doubt :)
