Eisenmenger's syndrome is when blood in the heart shunts from right-to-left due to increased pressure in the right ventricle. This increased pressure is usually caused by extra blood flowing through the blood vessels of the lungs, originally caused by left-to-right shunting of blood from a hole in the heart wall. Created by Leslie Samuel.

Impressive video. I would just like to add that cyanosis caused by Right to Left Shunts is central cyanosis, i.e it is not limited to the skin, but also involves the mucosa and can be seen in the oral mucosa and tongue.

Too good Sir. Please continue to develop these videos, especially the ones related to Health and Medicine. We need to get better doctors, and you will play a very important part by giving the would be doctors access to study material that can be easily understood, as well as one that is affordable.

Really great video....Very comprehensive ,Interesting, simple and funny...(the hand drawing part) Just a suggestion: include other CHD examples where Eisenmenger syndrome can occur. I also thought Right Ventricular Hypertrophy was one long term outcome such shunting CHDs
