Great videos series! Been watching you since last season and enjoy all your amazing peppers and plants! Did some sprouts/micro greens thanks to your channel and now this series is becoming something I look forward to watching! I also agree on what you mentioned about saving seeds from only the best looking pods! Anyways, thanks for the great videos and keep up the awesome posts!

It should have been called the Brazillian Fire Rose, as the pod looks remarkably rose-like! Of course, I can appreciate the chosen name, representative of the crossed strains..

Honestly as long as its in the pod your fine. As well the chemicals inside the hot pepper are sensitive to oxygen so after about an hour or so the oils will have neutralized. So its really not a big deal. No after they are opened and you use it DO NOT TOUCH YOUR EYES and I would suggest you no touch other, lets say sensitive, areas.
@BrokenCurtain2 жыл бұрын
@@Jamer508 "I would suggest you no touch other, let's say sensitive, areas" Unless you're into that kind of thing, of course.

@@Jamer508 capsaisin isn’t “neutralized by air”. If that were true dry pods wouldn’t be hot nor would anything spiced with dry peppers.

First name was right. Last name is He-nato. When "R" is at the start, it's an "H" sound. Such a goregous chile. I am curious when it's fine to introduce another chile into the line. Before stabilization? Probably just fine, but when is a good time for great success? Guessing trial by error is needed. Thank you for eating the chile.

That plant is impressive. How old is it? I mean it surely takes time to become this bushy even if you prune it thoroughly. You said you grow this variety each year from the best looking pods, so that tells me you grow it from seed, but is the pland shown in the video an overwintered one maybe? Thanks!
@KhangStarr8 жыл бұрын
Yes, I grow 2-3 of these each year. This one is probably 8 months old. I trimmed it back many times during winter before I let it bush out like this.

Outdoor or indoor?
@randymathews33488 жыл бұрын
+Khang Starr indoor
@KhangStarr8 жыл бұрын
Randy Mathews Fungus gnats are able to thrive indoor because your top 2 inches of soil is moist, which they love. The best way to prevent them from multiplying is to keep this level bone dry. That's usually difficult because you must feed your plant water. You can try water from the bottom. I have also heard that mosquito dunks work as well.

Yes , The Carolina Reaper is *the* hottest mainstream super hot that i know of. Maybe someone has a cross that i havent heard of yet that beats it. But i grew around 6-9 different strains of mainstream super hots last years (iam also growing the same strains this year).. and The Carolina Reaper is the hottest out of all the ones i have tried from my grow.

I never swallow my super hots even if i eat small pieces like that. I enjoy the taste more than anything and sometimes the spice. I usually just chew and then spit out once it gets to the constancy that i would normally swallow at.
