Those ghost plants don’t only stretch because of the light, they are a naturally trailing plant. They naturally grow along the ground to spread. There are other types that stay in a rosette form and more compact, but this type will always want to trail and spill over containers. FYI!

I was going to say this!! That is a feature that I actually like about them and they look amazing on shelves, that is why I chose them. Depriving them of light a little bit can give them such a gorgeous colour too, a little more cool toned purple-ish. Plenty of sun makes them blush! 🥰

I don’t know why so many succulent videos have people saying to leave the succulent leaf out on the side. I always take the leaf and put it directly in the ground and it makes a new plant. When you have enough succulents like I do, I don’t bother with leaves, and I just cut a stem and put it in the ground. I live in Southern California, so maybe terrain allows for this method better, but succulents don’t need to be fussed over. I’ve grown new succulents in all kinds of soil: new soil, palm plant soil, sand, etc and they ALWAYS grow
