I _always_ wanted to know what all the parables meant, especially as I often didn’t understand what Allah meant by them and then I would feel bad when I read that ayah in the Quran where Allah is criticising those that say “what does Allah mean by this”. When you listen to the Qur'an, you have to listen to it, not to say, "Masha Allah", Masha Allah, Mashallah. This is very wrong and is not considered respect for the Qur'an.
