Turko-Mongol inspired. The origin of the word "hatun" is Turkic, although it also has historical usage in Mongolic languages due to close cultural and linguistic interactions between Turkic and Mongolic peoples. Etymology and Usage Turkic Origin: The word "hatun" originally comes from Old Turkic, where it referred to a queen, noblewoman, or empress. It was used to denote a woman of high rank, often the wife of a khan or ruler. In Old Turkic inscriptions, such as those found in the Orkhon Valley, "hatun" appears as a title for royal women. Mongolic Borrowing: The Mongols adopted the term from the Turkic peoples, especially during the period of extensive interaction in Central Asia. In Mongolic, the term "khatun" (Хатун) became widely used and retained the meaning of a high-ranking or noblewoman. This borrowing likely occurred during the time of the Gök Türks and later during the Mongol Empire, where cultural exchange was prevalent.

She even kinda fights more like Apollyon should Apollyon was the adaptability of a Warden given the indomitable nature of a Lawbringer, whereas Warmonger is just Warden with an impale on parry and an edgy theater kid claw swipe instead of a shoulder bash The soft feints, the defensive dash stance, the multiple options for damage and crowd control out of her big attack, the high skill floor, Khatun seems insanely intimidating and able to handle any number of opponents if played right, all without needing to rely on lame tacked on poison feats

I've seen mongols spell is (in our alphabet which they don's use) as Chinggis Khaan or Chinggis Kahaan (k pronounced for Kahaan) Other thing is that the kh- sound is equivalent to the cyrillic х, which is a phleghmy k/h mix ; try and listen to a pronunciation guide somewhere. Additional note, I think this gal is actually based on the warrior princess Khutulun who was one of GK's great granddaughters, take a look at her she was very cool

See im confused by this. you say Gojin and apollyon are similar to you. However What Gojin is doing is what you acused astrea of doin and you said Apollyon would hate Astrea for it. So what confused me is that now all of a sudden apollyon hates astrea but loves Gojin in your opinion. Have you had a change of heart on what you think apollyon wants or is this a inconsistency just because you like Gojin and dont really like Astrea that much?
@RavenKnightYT10 күн бұрын
Then I'll explain my stance more clearly here, since this video was unscripted and I might not have organized my words as well as I should have. I don't recall ever saying Apollyon would love Guljin, but like I said, I didn't script this, and I was talking from the cuff, so I may have misspoke. I think Apollyon and Guljin are similar in approach. Apollyon was a warlord who wanted to save the world by reminding the world of the natural order: that war was the natural state of man, and that peace only breeds complacency and weakness. Our species cannot survive like that. She sacrificed her life to ensure this took place; that war was the constant. She wanted to guide Heathmoore to this new idea of hers. Astrea followed in the teachings of Apollyon, but adjusted them to a new goal: She doesn't seek war for the sake of war, but to eliminate the weak. She wants to subjugate or destroy the sheep of the world so only wolves would remain, and then, with those wolves as the primary rulers of the world order, there would be lasting stability under her rule. She's not out to save the world...she's out to rule it. Guljin is doing both. She's saving the world BY ruling it. Guljin believes that peace is a necessity, but peace cannot be obtained by letting the wolves rule, for the wolves will continue to devour each other, even when the sheep are subjugated. So she believes that, for lasting peace, ALL must be made to recognize the uselessness of it ("You claim to fight for peace, but you know not what you fight for.") The way I look at it, Astrea is a wolf, for sure. But Apollyon and Guljin are both shephards. Both looking to guide the world into a natural state. Apollyon drove her flock to war, Guljin drives her flock to peace. Both do it through brutal and even barbaric tactics, but both are GUIDES to what they percieve as the natural state of the world. Astrea is not a guide. Like Guljin, she wants to rule, but it's not because she thinks it will bring peace, but because she thinks it's only right for the strong to rule the weak. That is my take on it. You're free to disagree if you like...but frankly you and I cross horns so often on this topic, I honestly don't care anymore.
@mal136210 күн бұрын
@@RavenKnightYT well I'll say this then Astrea wants to save the world. And this isn't a interpretation that Astrea wants to save it. She says it herself. Here is a link of it 17:10 is the direct quote. "Venture out into the world, spread the truth, save this world from peace. In this you will find glory." Astrea believes that the strong should rule, because when the weak are in power the strong are casted out and suffer. So she views herself as the person needed to Shepard the strong and punish the unworthy. Astrea saw apollyons methods they were good for 10 years, but it failed. And 15 years of peace was made possible. Astrea understood that a different and more forceful method was and is needed to insure that only the truest heroes thrive. Astrea is a Shepard and not just a wolf in my book. She's certainly accomplished alot more in her life time. But if you don't care anymore then it is what it is. I'll just continue to leave my opinion for those that care about what I have to say as someone who doesn't have the same level of influence as you.

The horse mechanic from the story mode was designed for the campaign mode and would not be conducive to a 4v4 game mode, especially if only one character has access to it.
