That would be an interesting mechanic in the next game. Since Khezu is so stretchy he could try to catch the hunter off its back. Like those throw off attacks when monsters ram into walls, but khezu could do that without a wall and if successful trigger a pin attack.

In the Khezu fight Josh kept doing the Longsword thing of constantly going to the head when the hammer is doing they're job...seriously I've been needing to launch people to get them to see there is a tail still connected and that's their job

Khezu's tail can't be cut. From what I remember, most weapons just bounce off of it unless you have a skill that prevents weapon deflection.

@@luckyday5721 greatsword being the heaviest hitter, it and the hammer should share the head when there isn't a tail to sever. Just be on opposite sides of the head.

@@lazyryan3766 You are aware I'm joking right? A core part of multiplayer hunts is to both know placement of the monster and the other hunters. Yes if is no cutting weak point you should target the best spots but also keep in mind a weapon like Hunting horn is doing Big swings.

American audience preferred Giginox but the grand majority of Japanese players prefer Khezu for it's silent hill armor design and general creepiness when on screen. Khezu is the bulkier of the two while Giginox is the faster one, and while Giginox is pretty cool it has only been in tri so the chances of it ever coming back is very low.

I do remember back in 4U it said something that it uses it for support and can become weak if attacked or something. But the tail changes shape so often during the fight it was just easier to attack its legs to make fall over all the time

@@ivanvoznenko7874 because I don't know. I just took a guess with the Toad Oil material (it can be completely wrong guess). Like I said still don't know how Tetsucabra's tail works. It was just always for me easier to attack its legs

@@dianslabbert504 it probably is toad oil since it has a weakening effect (if that's what his spit attack is). It can trigger a state called stamina down and it locks your stamina at 0 for a while. It's very rare because I think you have to be in the red of your stamina already before getting hit to trigger it.
