Is there a way to power the machine down or unlock the door without powering down the machine. My clothes are locked in the washer and I cannot contact the owners and the laundromat is closing for the night

Sam the answer is no. If there is not a disconnect switch behind the washer or a power cord to unplug then you have to wait for the owners to respond. Sorry.

I work at laundromat. We have speed queens. Some of them start the cycle, fill up eith water just fine, but the timer will not count down correctly. The machines cycle reads 23 min but it takes FOREVER. Any idea what causes that?

It can be one of three problems. It could be a drain issue where the machine cannot be draining or it could be a fill issue where the machine is not filling or the third thing would be machines trying to go in the spin but it can’t balance itself Can’t balance itself then it’s going to keep on doing retry until it does balance the load.

Very Annoying not to have the washer work correctly. Anything mechanical will break at some point in time. At least you know how to get your clothes out of he washer without destroying the machine.
