Sounds like a start, along with who were the property owners from the time of disappearance, the number of owners, occupants from then until current, and when construction was done around the property and when. Forensics of decomposition from Federal agencies, like the organization at JBPHH for MIA, might be a resource on what was found.

14 years???? I guess for hpd, better late than never. Should be easy to find out what work was done, when, and by who. Ask Norman Quon. If he did live there all his life, he might remember something. How come they didn't report who lived in the house way back then????

Reporters: please rethink your outfit choices. Ask around the office if you think that’s appropriate attire.

What's wrong with a loose fit white button up dress shirt for in field reporting? I think your projecting your insecurities a little bit...

Whoever did it is probably... not alive anymore. Judging by the victims photo, it looks as though it was taken in the 70s, and he looked like he was probably in his early 40s. If the shooter was around that same age, then more than likely, they are either very old, possibly anywhere from late 60s- 70s- or early 80s years old or are not alive. ... any residents in the area in those age brackets should be looked into, especially if they lived in thar area/property the year (time period) the crime took place. Im sure records must show where they lived throughout the years.

The story says the victim was last seen alive in 1985 so that changes your timetable a bit but still 40ish years since the shooting and someone probably getting up there in age.
