I currently live on the East Coast and I’m from Hawaii. I know this is about the shark and it’s a beautiful thing but the water just looks clean and beautiful!!! Miss swimming in beaches in Hawaii!!!!

I was in the canal in Kailua near Aikahi trying to free a crab net that was stuck to the bottom and a 10' whale shark swam by me in around chest deep water and scared the hell out of me!

@@capslock4959 A long time ago. It was about 2 feet away from me when I saw it, because the water there is so dark. Just swam by really slowly heading towards the ocean!

It's a calf. Without its mother. This is the 1st sign , somthing isn't right. A calf without its mother coming incredibly close is not normal. It was trying g to get someone's attention who knows what they are looking at. It's Mother is probably stuck in a net somewhere. Marine Wildlife Resque should try to find the calf asap, It will lead them to his mother. Good Luck little dude.✨️🙏🏼✨️
