Bregman's on the back nine. Lowest OPS of his career, and his OBP dropped nearly 50 points. He peaked 5 years ago. The contract the Astros offered him, was more than fair, and would hurt the team in the long run. Of course, Bregman is not concerned with team success...he's got 2 rings, and he's looking to get paid. He'll leave just like Springer, Correa, and Cole. Good chance he goes to the Yankees, since they lost Soto. There he can get his money, and also be on a competitive team. It's been fun Breggy. See ya.

Dude how old are you? The Mets offered 42m/year which was absurd. Not to mention the Mets have the wealthiest owner in the league that has publicly stated he will spend whatever it takes to acquire talent, aka Juan Soto. Crane consistently puts the Astros in the top 5-10 payrolls every year. He’s gone over the CBT multiple times. Made Altuve a lifelong Astro. And brought multiple championships.
