It's actually called the "wobble effect" in which the earth tilts on its axis as it rotates like the way a child's toy top spins upright for a bit and then starts to tilt on its axis. The earth tilts about 20 degrees and takes 5 thousand years to make a full tilt and return. Something scientific like that. Seriously. Google search "wobble effect".

@@ranakeen9884 So the wobble affect is causing the southeast U.S. to have more sustainable winter weather. I actually studied this. However, everyone keeps blaming this winter storm on climate change and what not.

@@artw1320 it may be a due to a number of factors...climate change + the wobble effect etc. Our ecosystem is a complex dynamic which can be affected by multiple things... I do know that once upon a time, the antarctic and all the desert regions in the Middle East were more like the Amazon region. I just saw where there was snow in the Sahara desert recently also! Hmmmm

Any prolonging of cool temperatures is cool with me. I HATE the heat. I wish our daily HIGHS were about 60-65 and daily lows about 40-45. So nice.

In the summer or for March and spring, because if you mean summer, then it wouldn't be summer anymore, that is way too cold for summer, you couldnt even enjoy the pool or the beach and you'd be constantly cold and have to where a sweater all the time. Wouldn't be fun, and it would be depressing being cold like that all the time. A bit like the bad weather the oregon coast has to go through, I can't see how people live on the west coast with it being in the 60's and cold all the time in summer. Other times of the year, that's fine but summer, heck no!
