Please continue your priceless and meaningful journey as the greatest English teacher to kindly guide all students to the bright future and to be good people of the society. (With great respect from my heart, Kru Pong)
Kru Ice is a real person and a differently-abled English teacher in Thailand. I had the opportunity to meet him and even participated in his “class” in Phuket during the YSEALI Summit. We viewed this video in a hall of 150 people and trust me everyone was in tears. Such an inspiration!

It would be a lot more touched if you know the meaning of the song the students sang. It was released by a Thai band "Chalieng" about 30 years ago and became a classic. The song said about flowers which bloomed in a school for the blind. Those blind cannot see how beautiful these flowers are, yet they can feel the shade, smell their fragrant, or even hear the sound of the wind blows through their leaves. Same thing might be different for each. It depends on how you view it -- not by your eyes but by your hearts.

I didn't know this was based on a real story, wow. What a truly amazing man, and a great teacher. Got me crying a bit, jeez.

@@bend.6091 I thought I understood exactly what the song was trying to say right away, just like the message they gave him on his aware. "You are a beacon of light, even in the dark". Just like his eyesight doesn't prevent him from seeing beauty in the world, it doesn't hold him back from improving the world too. So beautiful. American commercials could stand to learn from them.. god.
Oh what a great video I enjoyed doing the reaction video to this... I am now seeing that the English subtitle was added...Will watch it again in the future with the English sub enable.

This story was a real event. That blind teacher is a real person, not paid actor and also the students.

Are you ever been to thailand? Welcome to thailand( i like to see your react )
He is one of the great teachers who has been devoting his skillfullness to inspire children to have appetite to develope oneself. I would like to salute my greeting to him for the best resources of our nation to remind us to aware about the self development. Thanks to all who may be concerned.
That feeling when you're Cambodian American, and only know glimpses of Khmer, but when I hear Thai my brain malfunctions. God you Thai people are good at making commercials, making me feel like I'm learning more Thai then Khmer willingly.
I remember that I had a teacher who was visually impaired or blind ,When i was in high school but you know ,My teacher has a more beautiful heart than the eyes ,He try and intended to be a good teacher like a normal teacher and often he will always cry ,Because of insults and without respect for the students in him But in the end he became a teacher with a lot of students in the school love hime same normal teacher and with the last words the end of the hour always from his mouth Thank you for trying to be a good student and thank you for looking at him as a teacher not looking at him as just a blind person . " My Sir suchat " ❤️
