Just a key thing here. All of your gear progresses yoyr characters levels. Any gear unlocked can be equipped on any other character. So once i unlocked high gesr on my main assassin, i jumped my other characters from level 5 all the way to where my main is at level 55. Really important. PIN THIS!

Another tip for survival mode since I haven’t seen other people doing this: there are a good amount of exploding barrels that will respawn after a couple waves that you can pickup and put in the middle of the zones you need to defend. Blow it up when they’re all standing in the zone, easy money. Plus you get Iroh telling you what a sweet piece of ass you are for killing a bunch of enemies at once 👌🏽

This game gives me a power trip. I’m fairly good and once was in a situation where 3/4 people in my team were struggling to hold a point and I was the only person defending a point from a wave. I was Samurai and managed to hold off an entire wave single handedly on a bridge leading to a point. Felt fuckin awesome

Tip for all hunters: You can go to settings and turn on aim assist this can help you shoot running enemies and enemies in the distance. The downside is that you’re going to fight the assist at times since it can auto aim at barrels and lamps even though walls, but it is really good hitting your shots. Also, you can turn on an indicator when you are getting targeted by ranged attacks to help with dodging them.

The aim assist is definitely strong which is great, but also can be a hindrance. Like in the main game and trying to throw a wind chime to lure an enemy away, aim assist just keeps snapping back to your target. 😒

Another tip: if 2 defense area are being raided at the same time, look at where your teammates going. If 2 are going to A, just go to B and expect one more teammate to follow. If you’re alone, try to stay alive and better to avoid most attacks in the circle even if you’re not killing enemies to hold defense area until your teammates at A come to help.

Ive reached Ki rank 80+ Assassin and so far, I feel like the Samurai is kinda busted. He has a good self heal ability. Meaning he doesn't need ronin as much. Good defense and melee attacks (Sorry assassin) Insane ultimate (way better than assassin's imo) Imo, I think Assassin is the least useful in higher levels. He doesn't feel as the "glass cannon" that the devs told us and his assassinations isn't that useful because most high level enemies with high heslth pools can easily take on their assassinations. Tldr: Samurai is kinda op and assassin is underpowered in high levels. Needs some balancing.

When in gold or nightmare go with duos. I find that the most effective. Then regroup when one finishes earlier which often happens. One can split off and hold the oncoming enemies and the 3 left can finish the other group and come help finish the new one. Healing Gourd is the best if you’re not a ronin main. You never know if a ronin will be in your team and the healing drums aren’t in large amounts. :)

Think leveling multiple characters at once is a more viable tactic tbh. For one, the gear is shared between classes meaning you can jump in at the same level of missions you were doing before anyway and second, abilities are set up in columns where you can only pick one per column anyway, so by the time you have the first column unlocked (which is about the same time you have enough points to unlock a new class) , I'd say it's ok to switch to another character and start building him up... Sure you might miss out on some great column 2 and 3 abilties, but these are usually sidegrades and not upgrades, meaning you'll be fine if you get those later and fine tune your favorite class. Also think it'll make for a better play experience than let's say only playing the samurai , then getting into endgame difficulties and having to struggle with three other starter classes that have zero abilities unlocked (at least if you do it progressively you'll have four functionnal characters when you reach endgame, heck by the time I finished the first difficulty of story mode I already had two classes with all first row abilities unlocked).

It's really helpful to roll more than one class when you can. The reason is the dailys. Let's say you have a daily that wants you to assassinate 3 targets in three seconds...well as an assassin that would be easy mode. Plus, you get gear no matter what you're doing. But yes, play the class that YOU wanna play, because you'll be best at it. But getting 20 levels on another class is not hard at all. Just a bit of time. Use it wisely and have fun!

Tip for you guys... you can reforge an item and it will raise the Ki level close to your current Ki level, if then the ability in the bottom or middle isnt what you want, you can reroll one of those perks/abilities multiple times until you get what you want. So if you have an item you really like underleveled, you can reforge to raise Ki and reroll to get the same ability as before.

is legends in any way connected to the story mode? i mean in terms of cosmetics, armor or resources.. is there anything in legends that also carries over to the story mode?

No it’s the contrary, you have to play the story mode to unlock some cosmetics

Those are bonuses. Some times you get em sometimes you don’t. It’s much more important that you all survive to the next round. And the barrels help in that.

Don't reroll on any non purple gear & Dont dismantle purple gear. Purple gear can reroll at higher Ki values. Up to a max of 106.

I kinda disagree with just focusing on getting high chi score dont worry about the skills and perks that come with it. Finding decent gear that suits your build within reason. For example, most my gear is over 50 but my healing gourd is a 46 because it has heal extra 50 percent. That's really helpful in those silver survivals and even then when i was running lower 40's in silver survival, my gear is what helped keep me alive
