Great comparison. My was on the Dyno when we installed it and it gained More torque and some horsepower as well. Definitely take it and just let them pull the numbers. That boi sounds really good

I just installed it on my road Glide sounds the same. Don't know if it add more torque . But I'll test it next time ride 2 up.

So I got conflicting information when I went to biketoberfest. I was told that the reducer is just that. It doesn’t really have any effect on power or torque. It is made to reduce some sound. Which I did notice about n the deceleration it’s a tiny bit more quiet. I’m thinking of removing it just to try and see if I hear the difference. Thanks so much for watching and commenting ✌🏼🙏🏼

I have the cone reducer and the db killer. I had the cone reducer on the bike when tuned. 120 hp and 136 torque (2750 rpm). I tried the db killer that advertised no power loss. Yeah there was. Like you I will learn to get used to the cone, i want all the torque i can get. Stay safe

I guess this is ok. I don’t really notice much of a change but I haven’t put it on the Dyno since, to see if the torque has changed as advertised. But without it makes 144/144. And I feel every bit of it 💪🏼😂 Ride safe out there and thanks so much for the comment! ✌🏼

The louvered baffle is the best choice for sound and performance. The sound from the other baffles are better but there is a noticeable difference in low end torque. Here is a clip with the louvered baffles installed on a 2023 RGST with an S&S 475 Cam and Khrome Werks Dominator 2 into 2 exhaust. kzbin.info-RI8fu80LvI?si=yxqxx6JEWWvCz4pW The Dominator 2 into 1 definitely sounds better with better performance.

Unfortunately we can’t get both. More back pressure means less sound. But I agree. The louvered baffles are the best. Sound wise, you can’t beat the chop of a 475 and dominators. It’s much more pronounced and fat. But the 475 in itself is just a winner in my book. Great cam for the price.

I’m still getting used to it, to be honest. But I do love the sound. Especially the decel sound. It’s like a gurgling, fire breathing dragon. I’m now debating if I should leave the reducer insert or take it out. I might take it out.

@@coffeehogs I have the reducer baffles. I like the sound better but they gave me a headache. ( Drone with more vibration ) There is a noticeable difference in torque using the louvered baffle which to me is worth giving up the better sounding reducer baffles.

The reducer is not a baffle but a simple insert at the end of the baffle. It doesn’t do much other than reduce some of the noise is what I was told at Biketoberfest. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I wonder if you flip the reducer around if it changes anything? Sounds great though. I have the 2 in 2 Khrome Werks. Might have to look into these.

Thank you. Haven’t tried flipping it but it might not fit because the opening for the baffle I think is smaller. But you make a good point. It may change the sound a bit.

The reducer? You can get it pretty much at any moto retailer. RevZilla maybe? I would just get it from Khrome Werks directly.
