Nice install, didn't seem to bad for what it is. Looks and sounds great.

Oh there was a little aggravation here and there ha. I’m not sure any install goes smoothly.

Great install! Man, I hate replacing those gaskets…I’ve jacked up my share of them😂 sounds NICE! And looks great!

I was super nervous about those gaskets. Patient and prayers got me through it 😂😂. Definitely happy with the exhaust.

I'm trying to decide what exhaust I need, I'd like to maintain the quiet exhaust but still improve performance. On long trips, loud exhaust grates on my nerves. I definitely like the looks of Klockworks exhaust.

Don’t get TAB Performance with zombie baffles. They are crazy loud

Nice install brother.... With out a doubt the Chrome Work's definitely sounds better than what you was running.... And it look's good too👊🏽😎

Yes it does! Just needs some more miles to test it out.

Great install, you made it look relatively painless. I’m sure I would’ve had to cut out a few choice cuss sessions. 😂 I agree the KW exhaust definitely sounds better than the Cobras you had on there before. Some of those bolts are in such small places I’m not sure if I could get my hands to be steady enough. And for the record, I’d have used a pick too. 😎

Yeah definitely requires patience. The filming was the roughest part 😂😂. Making sure I captured everything. Yes I cussed a few times. Appreciate it Derek. ✌️🤘

Randy, I looked thought the comments and didn’t see the answer to my questions so forgive me if it’s been asked. What baffles do they come with or which ones did you use? I tried the link and it says it can’t be found. Is your a stage one or two? I’m looking at upgrading my 117 motor on the CVO and I like the sound of your bike and Kromewerks quality and customer support. I also need a tuner and from what I read it appears the powervision may be the one to go with as opposed to the screaming eagle. Any info would be appreciated.

I updated the link in the description so it works now. But keep in mind I have a Twin Cam not an M8 so the link is for the Twin Cam exhaust. The baffles are the standard Khrome Werks baffles. I know they offer other baffles but I didn't order anything different. As far as tuner I have the Harley Performance Tuner but if I had to do it over I would have gotten the Powervision because you can buy a license to tune another bike say if you have two or more. Oh and I just have a stage 1 on my bike. Let me know if you have more questions. Happy to help!

Thanks for the reply. I know I still have warranty and may even extend it which kinda locks me into screaming Eagle upgrades. I’m actually at Man o War waiting on my bike. I figured since I just bought this bike (300 miles ago) used I would let them do the 10k service. The Winter rates help😂 I may just get some KW slip ons and put them on myself this winter. I can always build up from there with whatever tuner and stage I want to go with I guess. I know the SE stuff is restricted with all the EPA stuff but they are a little better than stock. Heck the KW slip ons may sound decent with the 117. 😊
@SinisterClutch Жыл бұрын
@@dondasher58 I replaced my whole system. I think you’ll be fine with the slip ons and stock headers. I love the sound of them and seem to be getting really popular. That EPA crap sucks. I understand on the warranty especially if you travel long distance. My warranty expired a long time ago. Take care and enjoy the ride🤙🤙. Sounds like you live in KY

Good video, 2 questions, how much trouble was the front header pipe nuts with the lowers on? And what tuner are you going with? I still have 10 months on my warranty so I’ll probably change mine out in the fall
@SinisterClutch Жыл бұрын
I was able to use a socket extension and send it through the vent of the lower so no trouble at all. I’m using the Harley Screaming Eagle Pro Street Tuner.
@SinisterClutch Жыл бұрын
I wanted to add the Dyno Jet Power Vision Tuner allows you to buy different license for each bike you have. I didn’t know that when I bought my tuner years ago. I’d consider that one if I was you
@BluegrassRiders Жыл бұрын
@@SinisterClutch that’s the one everyone seems to recommend, I still have 10 months on my warranty so was thinking about going to the Harley tuner until my warranty runs out and then doing the head pipes and the PV4 once the warranty expires

I can’t decide between pipes or shocks. Not enough money for both, the struggle is maddening.

Hi, just bought this exhaust system. I unboxed the slipons and took the end caps apart and pulled out the insides. It was wrapped in fiberglass and steel wool. I took all that off and disposed of it. I then put the inside back in the slip on. My question is, is the inside part the baffle, or is there a baffle you have to buy that goes inside of that? People say they run these without a baffle so I was just wondering what exactly that meant.
@SinisterClutch10 ай бұрын
The baffles are there from factory. I never took the baffles out of mine. The exhaust sounds awesome. People do it for the sound.
