I now realize that all the other Khruangbin videos I'd watched were played through my computer's tiny, tinny speaker. It simply couldn't reproduce the bass sounds.

I honestly love this band. And I think their sound here wasn’t where it needed to be to attract new fans who hadn’t heard of them. This song is all about mark Speer communicating what the whole band is saying to us, and the tweak on the guitar just didn’t sound right. For me cool. But to attract a newbie? The sound the have is so easy to love. Why tweak it? Granted, I’m high as fuck

I guess I’m not sophisticated enough to understand the appeal of this music. It sounds like some kids walked in to their dads garage and plugged into his gear fir the first time.
