That 1st little tidbit alone "this is not in the manual" is worth the price of admission! caught in the rain I could not lift the roof out of the boot with all my strength. After pulling the key and holding the button down for 10 seconds, it lifted easily. You sir are a PRO!

Best damn close an A4 Roof video I've ever seen.... detailed, real time and I didn't know the 10 second bit... Thank you. (2004 A4 Cabriolet, USA model)

You are an absolute Diamond and with your valuable help I managed to sort it out all on my own 😁.I had tried with a previous video which came up first but yours included the crucial hydraulic release information which did the trick and was able to close, lock and the dashboard ‘soft top not secure’ button went off too ! Many thanks 🙏

The best how to close roof on an A4 cabriolet video on KZbin. Very clear and easy to follow and the open the windows and remove key, 10 seconds press to release the Hydraulics was a genius. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge with us! You should give classes in how to create helpful videos - you get right to the point, clearly show what to do, explain briefly and so easy-to-understand. No gratuitious music, needless patter, begging for likes, etc. Can't thank you enough - wishing you continued great success!!

I went through many videos that did not help. This one is great and full of tips and nuances i.e. release the fluid by pressing the button.. Worked great!

Thank you - this was invaluable just now - the whole closing the roof moved about an inch then stopped! It didn’t get past that point.

Thanks very much--from here in Australia--this video was such a lifesaver today. I don't think I would have been able to get it done (winding it back down and then closing up manually to reset the sensors) without your clear descriptions, clear camera angles, and the "not in the manual" tips. A lot of the steps required a lot of force, so it was vital to know I was making the right move so that I had the confidence to give it the necessary grunt--otherwise I would have been unable to get the mechanisms to move for fear of breaking something. Thanks again. (For those wanting to do the whole back down and back up thing, it might also be useful to also view Mathew Brenengen's video, because he does that whole process, but I also needed the clear detailed demonstrations given in this video to know fully what to do, particularly with that tool.)

The switch was key to this for me. My cover would not release even after 24 hours of waiting, held the switch for 10 sec and the cover released immediately. THANK YOU!

Brilliant presentation, roof malfunctioned in the open position, I followed the Audi manual to close the roof but could not lift out the roof. But after your recommended 10 sec pressure release it lifted out like and dream and closed. Thanks
