Yesterday i finished his book "Punjab, Punjabi, Punjabyat" beautiful book, being a Pakistani i proud that he was a Punjabi and his Birth Place in Pakistan, lot of respect from Pakistan for this Great writer.

I like KUSHWANT SINGH'S sense of humour. He is the most honest and loyal author, keep nothing behind, says before the face, which itself is a sign of honesty. I liked all his novels from Train to Pakistan to I Shall Not Hear the NIGHTANGALE. The Company of Women. His works always have a touch with society and types of individuals.

This guy is wrong. Khushwant singh appeared for ICS where he got full marks in interview. But after independence, he got job in diplomatic services by his father's relations. I'm surprised that he don't knew this. Perhaps, he is mangat rai's son.
