Such as Ki Adi Mundi being one of the only few Jedi given an exception to form a connection and have children simply because of his species' low birth rate. In comics Ki Adi Mundi ends up with 5 wives and many many children, and after they've grown up he distances himself from in accordance with the Jedi Order. In several audio books written my Lucasfilm themselves, there are many references to Ki Adi Mundi's children dying but Ki Adi Mundi refuses to go home as he had important work to attend to in the temple. The fact I understand this lore/canon shows that I know what canon means. And you clearly don't actually care you just want to be a Disney Apologist. Disgrace!

This character has practically no lines in Episode I, and the writers of this trash opt to choose HIM to engage in their story in such a way that it completely contradicts the biggest line in the movie that he DOES have. Since everyone is so dead set on using Ki-Adi's Legends age, let's use Legends lore to explain why the timeline hasn't been contradicted yet. There were non-Sith Darksiders who popped up during the 1000 years between Bane and Palpatine. Notably one of Yoda's species fought a Darksider on Dagobah and led to the creation of the Dark Side Cave there. There seems to be a misconception that being a Darksider automatically makes you a Sith. Sith is a philosophical code based in the Dark Side, it is not the Dark Side itself. Ki-Adi has no evidence to suggest that this particular masked Darksider is a follower of Sith Philosophy. As far as the Jedi know, all Sith teachings have either been destroyed or are under lock and key. From an in-universe Jedi perspective, it doesn't make sense for this man to be a Sith. The Acolyte has not been good. There are a lot of issues with the writing and with the direction. But let's not hyperfocus on the lore issues that actually are not issues okay?

The Jedi literally say that they think Mae was trained by a member of their order gone rogue. 2) Being blind to the coming darkness and the existence of the Sith is literally one of the main flaws of the Jedi. In Tales of the Jedi Dooku says "I've been warning about the coming darkness for years". The Jedi don't listen, they think Dooku is jumping to conclusions. By showing Ki Adi Mundi in denial about the Sith, they further emphasize that flaw in the Jedi Order

These spin-off shows are like, even if an enemy uses the dark side of Force, fight with red lightsaber and all that....as long as he doesn't claim himself to be a Sith, then he's totally not a Sith. And this is not unique to the Disney canon, in The Clone Wars and the old Clone Wars animation, somehow everyone agree that Assaj Ventress is just "assassin" and not a Sith. Either that or "dark jedi", "inquisitors". I remember inquisitors exist in Legend EU too, just only appear in comic books.

when it comes to a dark side Force-user wielding a red lightsaber who kills Jedi and is training an acolyte, what name they go by is inconsequential. The argument that this scene is at all justified because "they aren't specifically a Sith, sooo..." is like walking into a jungle and being chased by an alligator and screaming "AGH! crocodile!" and then someone correcting you by saying, "well actually, it's an alligator, sooo...". So whether the master identifies as a 'sith' or not doesn't matter when they display all the characteristics of a Sith and therefore ARE a sith in all but name. To the Jedi, it shouldnt be such a big distinction, because even if by the end of the show it turns out that the master ISNT a sith, then his presence, his ability to use the dark side, the fact that he is training an acolyte, and his mysterious appearance all suggest that he is related to the sith in one way or another, or is at least just as bad as one

So it makes more sense that they would expect it to be some go rogue Jedi who trained these, then long lost Sith Master resurfacing from nowhere. Plus at this point, it can still end up being like this. We don't know who The Master really is. The sith could be just a mask. ;)

It's unclear where it's stated that the character from The Acolyte is a Sith or has any connection to the Sith. Even if there is a connection, it doesn't imply that Ki-Adi-Mundi was aware of it during the time of the prequels.

I don’t remember him ever being corrupt, but perhaps it’s something in legends you’re thinking of? He was always portrayed as being a little bit arrogant, but this show in particular is making all the Jedi look overly arrogant, selfish, and corrupt beyond the point that they should even be able to use the force at all.

Where is the problem ? Vernestra and Sol and WE don't know if the dude with the red lightsaber is a sith or not (and in episode 4 their first idea is that's a dissident The Sith were actually not Mention at all in the 4 episode so stop being stupid for no reason

I can totally see that happening. Everyone walks up to the totally obvious sith and he turns to them, then goes on a 10 minute long rant that ends with "And my pronouns are force/user thank you very much!" At which point the main cast bow their heads apologize and leave the sith alone, while he continues assassinating Jedi.

I'm not saying the Acolyte is all that good, but where in that scene was there any mention of Sith? If nothing else, Qui Gon saying it's a Sith, and Ki Adi saying that's bullshit just further proves that he didn't think it was a Sith in the Acolyte. C'mon people.
