Base spirit: A rice spirit distilled in Kyoto
Botanicals: yellow yuzu from the north of Kyoto Prefecture, hinoki wood chips (Japanese cypress), bamboo, gyokuro tea from the Uji region and green sanshō (Japanese peppercorn) berries
After experimenting with almost 80 different botanicals the following were chosen - the botanicals are seperated into six different categories: Base, Citrus, Tea, Herbal, Spice and Floral - then each category is distilled individually and blended in perfect balance.
