Japanese conglomerate Suntory owns Morrison Bowmore Distillers. The three main distilleries include Bowmore, Auchentoshan, and Glen Garioch. They also owned Macallan from '94 to '99 - I remember that well, because Macallan 25 yr jumped from ~$115 to over $250 a bottle when Suntory owned them.
