I love to see German auto car makers struggle to do anything electric decently (and not being able to yet - having had at least a decade to wake up). Have had German cars for decades. I struggle to get 180 kilometers in mine. And to be able to get 400-ish... Surprised though that you guys get ventilated seats. The one i drove har perforated leather seats, but no ventilation. That surely depends on the budget, and needs of the buyer. If you are a small family there is no doubt that the little extra cost of the e-Niro will be worth it, for the larger dimensions, but as a single person who lives in a city where parallel parking is needed to park near my apartment the e-Soul would be a better fit, giving more than enough range and space for most of my trips and it being slightly cheaper is a nice bonus.

Range from 100% Charge Dropping. I have KIA Soul 2020. The car is driven 8000km. It has given me around 425km range when charged 100% but the last 4 100% charges have given me only a 375km range. There has been no significant temperature change (I live in Iceland) I would have thought that the decrease in the range should be more gradual but not in big jumps. What do you think?

@ramunasgudauskas75825 жыл бұрын
Well why such a large screen , when you still have the buttons? Bottom side of the screens of S3X are unusable at most of the times due to A/C buttons. While it has actual buttons here. I prefer screens too, but calling them out being "behind tesla" on design is wrong, only because they dont ditch the knobs. Efficiency yeah, but you can't just make a boxy car into a sleek sportscar on its second generation.
@alexanderkeene67045 жыл бұрын
I'm a Tesla fan but your attitude of "other EVs are bad Tesla is the best" isn't doing anyone good. First, if you've done any research, there are MANY more efficient EVs than Tesla especially against Model S and X. According to ev-database, Ioniq, Kona, and e-Niro are examples of more efficient EVs against S and X. Second, if you're nitpicking the number of buttons, you don't have a good argument. I'm a fan of Tesla's big touchscreen too but Tesla won't be going buttonless for a while. They have buttons on the steering wheel and I don't think touchscreen steering wheels will be a thing anytime soon. Also, if I remember correctly, Hazards are required to be physical buttons by law. (correct me on that one if I'm wrong)
@DirtyTesla5 жыл бұрын
@@alexanderkeene6704 You are correct on the hazard button, at least in the US. These companies have MUCH more money at their disposal than tesla, and their cars are still this far behind. It's pathetic. If there was a better electric car, I'd buy it. These guys are dragging their heels, and are 10 years behind where they need to be. I just want them to push the envelope and actually compete with Tesla. Competition is good for you and me. The only thing they have is their brand and emblem. Take some of their big bucks and get moving on EV development.
@sonicbhoc5 жыл бұрын
@@DirtyTesla people aren't always looking for or can afford (your definition of) "the best." I personally am looking at the Niro EV, Soul EV, and Bolt EV for various reasons. They're all solid cars, and at this point have much better lease deals than Tesla, for starters. I'd like a Tesla, but unless you're reaching into your wallet to pay for one for me, I don't see that happening any time soon.
@alexanderkeene67045 жыл бұрын
@@DirtyTesla Dirty Tesla 10 years behind? Come on, now you're just being a Tesla delusional fanboy. There are cars that are more AFFORDABLE with around the same efficiency as a Tesla and better interior quality. I am crazy about Teslas but I'm not delusional like you. Be reasonable. The main thing other companies are behind Tesla by a lot are the AutoPilot A.I. and Supercharger network. Some companies have better material quality than Tesla and there has been complaints of Tesla's interior. Tesla is leading a little on some EV tech but on other portions they are not ahead or even behind. Also, even if a company has "MUCH more money" than Tesla, Tesla only produces EVs while other companies produce ICEs, Hybrids, and EVs.
