Kia EV6 GT Review: Supercar performance in a family crossover

The Kia EV6 GT is a 577bhp electric crossover that can get from 0-62mph in just 3.5 seconds, has a WLTP range of 263 miles, and can rapid change from 10-80% battery in as little as 18 minutes.

Why are all reviewers complaining about the seats not being electrically adjustable? Manual adjustment is much quicker and how often do you actually move your seat anyway? For me its about once a year after my mechanic has been in

Ive had a GT for 6 months now and I love it - sold my f10 M5 for it - never looked back - best car ive ever owned and it’s so ridiculously fast. !

What kind of real world range do you get out of it? It's currently the only thing that concerns me moving from a Tesla Model 3 LR.

About 220 miles on a mix of eco and gt mode which is fine for me as i commute and do the odd longer trip ! 😊

Great review 👏 This electric ev6 is a beautiful looking car without any dout ! Its got the power 🔋 too its my dream .. I have a ev6 320 bhp awd and its not slow by any standards this GT must be beautiful Your buying this gt for power and fun Thats why its built like the Ioniq N built for fun 😁 Ill prefer this electric car to any other to be honest Saloon space looks power 🔋 ❤❤❤❤

What is the reason for omitting the electric seats that you get as standard in the cheaper model? And why no sunroof🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️

Apparently, the manual seats are a weight saving measure and weirdly the rest of the world gets the sunroof but us. 🙄👎

@@SteYoungnot just weight but you could seat lower as well. I do agree that it should've been powered at least. Vents seats would've been nice as well. Like you said everywhere else has a sunroof but here in North America we don't get the nicer headlights and turn signals 😔. Kia cheapen out that's for sure.

One of the best looking cars Wouldn't buy new 63k Used just over a year old 30k and you've got the warranty

Used 2 years will be closer to $30-35K maybe not one year. You could get a new GT right now for $50K after all rebates not $63K.

Nasty. Green piping, manually adjustable seats all that for £63,000. It will fall in value by several £ thousand per month.... Buy it at 2 years old for less than £30,000 and let the first owner lose over £35,000.. These manufacturers still havent figured out that the buyers are not excited nor interested in these vehicles... Sell a less 'rocket' version, 30% lighter and for £25 000 and then make it eke out over 400 miles range, under normal driving in any weather condition and the people might start to take interest..

This is why you it's better to lease EVs right now. After 2 years you're only paying $13K instead of getting hit with a possible $30K lost in value. EVs aren't meant for everyone at this time. Some people like to go fast while others are fine with slower and more efficient cars. There should always be an option regardless. If you want the most efficient EV6 then get the RWD version instead assuming you don't need a heat pump. It's over 300+ of range. It will be more next year. The battery tech isn't fully there yet so don't expect 400 miles from a similar setup as this. You could always get a Telsa instead as they're more efficient than this.
